I also think that Narcissa's power was also underrated. I think she was an extremely powerful witch and couple that with her love for her family and her intelligence it makes her and extremely dangerous witch. She played the part of a doting mother and a loving wife and completely took Voldemort and everybody by surprise. Voldemort could not understand a mother's love and that caused his downfall.

I always thought it was brilliant that the fear in her voice had nothing to do with Voldemort, but her love for Draco. Once she realized he was still alive, Voldemort meant nothing to her.

I believe she didn't become a death eater just for the shear fact that her loyalties lie with her son and husband first. Death eaters loyalties must lie with the dark lord above all else. She was a mom and a wife first. I love that. ❤

I would have to say: I love that they didn’t show snape and Lucius relationship because Snape is a badass. And he caries himself with a lot of respect. He would despise Lucius his behaviour. That is being voldermorts b&tch

Did that even happen in the books? I heard Harry struggled to stay limb through Cruciatus, but I never knew the details. For all of this video to hold, Narcissa would have to b the one to cast it but miss on purpose, which I know didn’t happen because Cruciatus didn’t miss Harry. So what exactly did she really do? Hard to tell if the movie changes change the canon, maybe if it was Rowling who decided to change it

It was highly convenient that Dumbledore had already told Snape that he needed to be the one to kill him. That saved Draco from either taking step he could never come back from, or being executed by Voldemort.

Small correction - Voldemort didn’t fall because ‘he threw his full weight behind the curse’ - he fell because he’d killed the horcrux in Harry - leaving him with only one left, Nagini. He was becoming weaker. That’s why he fell.

See voldemort screwed up in 2 major ways. When he killed lily potter and when he told narcissa to see if harry was alive after getting killed by voldemort. Those 2 ladies love for their children are critical in the storyline and fooled voldemort twice. Look at it this way. If she had screamed he's not dead they would have killed Harry for sure in that forest. Plus her making the unbreakable vow with snaps played right into dumbldores hands for the plan he made. But all because of her love for her son and Harry telling her the truth she defied voldemort and lied to him and in turn set up the catalyst for his downfall.

What reason did Narcissa have to lie after Harry indicated that Malfoy was alive? It would've been a huge risk

She wasn’t a death eater because she was a woman. The only woman that was a Death Eater was Bellatrix, but Voldemort didn’t see or have feelings for her. He only saw her as a tool. Also, Harry told Voldemort that he didn’t know what love was.

Plus, she was a bit of a firecracker. Yummy

My favorite moment in the entire series is seeing malfoy as a father and giving that small smile to harry, his mom saved him and harry and malfoy ended the cycle of brutality in his family.

Narcissa didnt.lie..Voldemort asked if "the Boy" was dead..not realizing that by sacrificing himself he was no longer a boy but a man and when she asked about Draco he could have let past grievances surface and lied but he did not; another reason for hee to know that 'the boy' was dead with a Man in his place

Its an intriguing thing that in the stories Harry is three times saved by a mothers love, first his mothers sacrifice which both saved him and marked him in a way which would protect him for most of his life
Molly weasley gave him the love of home and family which he sorely needed and on more than one occasion gave him a safe harbor
and lastly Narcissa had a chance to turn him in but when he let her know draco was safe she turned on voldemort instantly betraying him and insuring his downfall
