Elden Ring: How to fix Failed to Load Save Data error

I play on xbox series x and I just had this issue. I tried quiting the game, unplugged the Xbox and left it off for 5 minutes, etc. So what worked for me is go to system, then console info, then reset console and click "reset and keep my games and apps". This will factory reset your console but you will keep all your games and apps, it will take you like 5 min to do the process. Hope I can save a poor soul out there ❤

I did everything and it still doesn't work. Maybe the problem is I don't have that .bak file in there? But then how do I get it?

Hello , i had a mage character level 150 but recently i fully format my pc and when i install elden ring and try to play, it says failed to load save data i go to the folder of %appdata% ... elden ring i find there only 1 file the "ER0000.sl2" i have steam cloud enable when i first played , anyone can help me?

But How can you lunch the game with a sl2 because when i do it elden ring create a new game and when i lunch in co2 the game dont work

didn't work lol. Honestly I don't see how a backup of the file can "de-corrupt" the actual save

excelente mejor imposible! cambie la version del juego y no me reconocia el save, me salvo la vida esta por terminar el juego y no queria empezar todo de nuevo. lo unico tuve que agregar el nuevo id en el programa para que el nuevo save creado me lo tome como correcto, sino no me dejaba hacer el parche de id. muchisimas gracias!!!!!!!!

Whenever I try to change the ID, the program just freezes. Tried reinstalling the entire program without any luck
