And then this other guy Lamech shows up and has multiple wives... but where are they coming from???? Adam and Eve only had two kids and they're the only people that God mentions of making

At first the "snake" was a beast. After he was cursed then he was cursed to crawl on his belly. Then he became a snake.

I'm Catholic, which means I hardly know the Bible exists, much less having actually read it. However, I've been reading Genesis "cover-to-cover" and wow, what a show! It's kind of hard to believe sometimes that this cast of jerky, combative, clueless characters adds up to so much in the end, but the profound mystery of it is so intriguing.

But who wrote this stuff? Who was there to tell the story and to carry it on for thousands of years?

Funny story, in the tower of Babel sequence, it doesn't say that God miraculously changed the languages of the people in one night. It just says he cause their language to become confused. This may have been over several generations of tribal shift in dialect until they could no longer be simply ruled under one government.

Not saying it wasn't overnight. Just food for thought. It's good to hear these words and try not to think in the same old grooves.

The words in this video are dangerous. Genesis is history, not poetry. I know that sounds crazy from an evolutionary worldview, but science today is building a better case for the host told in Genesis than for evolution. I encourage everyone to think about that and dig in further.

Why did you not mention the firmament, important detail in genesis
