IOBit malware fighter is basically their April fool prank(except it works all year) cause it says it detects ALL malware but actually does not detect a thing.

Iobit's idea of an April Fools joke (ala Google Nose)? There's a lot of neo-tauted junk, even by some well-respected sites, pushing all sorts of snakeoil as a cure to latest crippling scumware. Like Iobit, a "new" free vpn, 'SafeIP', says it'll protect you from all hacking/malware w/unlimited bandwidth to boot; yet it's a Komodia Redirector running in background after exit, including its own in/outs, and can't be stopped except by OS clean reinstall. YOUR tests really help the public interest!

its quite lite.........that means its does nothing at all no ram usage .....that means thiers nothing thier good for dinosaurus computers like mine... i wish i could upgrade to an 2013 ASUS...but i cant afford it rite now thats one of the important things i learned from this channel..old computers have a problem getting rid of accumulated history...and not many gigabits of power todays computers have terabits of power and my CPU is always all over the place even tho nothing is on the screen

Excellent video. There is a new version or new version soon to be released by McAfee were they completely redid the user interface to make in touch-screen friendly. can you test it or do an overview of it.

IOBit Malware Fighter free seems does not count with good signatures - none detection based on them - just the intrusion prevention system interfered. It seems to me IOBit Malware Fighter free has a lot to improve. Thanks a lot for your excellent review!

IMF is a BIG failure...never use it , its a big waste

I doubt if the paid version will do any better. It has more Intrusion prevention guards but it uses the same cloud signatures, and not only did it fail to protect the system, it also could not remove the malware infections it let in.
