This Game Shop Had An Insane Sega Saturn Collection!

They had a lot cause the Saturn is no longer the best console if you think the Saturn beats the Xbox series X PS5 then your wrong ask yourself why aren’t new releases going on the Saturn anymore why doesn’t all new releases go even on the Nintendo Switch a 7 years old console

stuff like this tames my addiction. i get moments where i rush empty my bank on games then realise its not that serious these games not important just games then i step back. im in this really OCD state of mind with my collection im swapping 360 lego games for the wii versions why? because ithink lego games suit nintendo more im strange guy. also swapping tomb raiders on 360 to ps3 version because tomb raider is playstation in my eyes . as for saturn i just want the games i had the christmas day i got it. decades ago.

I can't believe you passed on that copy of Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo. You didn't even look at it. If you've never played it, the Saturn version is the definitive version. Find it and play it!

Shining Force 3 is one of my favourite games ever. Looks cool in a shop all together. I have a full PAL Saturn, (Dreamcast, 32X and Master System) set too.

I didn't see Virtual Hydlide. That game pushes the Saturn to its limit and beyond. Speed runners to this day still spend months plotting and planning the best routes and minimizing use of the menus when possible hoping to shave precious seconds off of that glorious world record time. No way people would do that if the title was not... Legendary!

Currently rebuilding my Saturn collection after getting a Saroo and falling in love with the Saturn all over again. Some awful games for the Saturn but i just love the underdog and loving some old classics.... Prices are nuts for some of the games though.

It's a shame because Shining Force III had 3 parts to it, only the fitst part (Shining Force III) was localised, the other 2 games stayed in Japan. Enjoy it. Hopefully I'll catch you this Sunday at the London Gaming Market again...I got some new gear you might like old sport. :)

I would have spend a small fortune in there for sure; seems the shoot'em ups are mostly gone when you were in the shop. You never played the Shining Force games, you are truly missing out. Never played 3 myself but part 1 and 2 are stonecold classics. Shining Force CD is fantastic too.

Great timing, missed out on Dreamcast but just in time for Saturn :) Have fun with Shining Force III! I like the series but haven’t played the Saturn game(s) yet.

Just a shame that as with a lot of our consoles, the boxes for Saturn are pretty garbage, personally would’ve preferred them in a normal CD case just like the far superior Japanese versions.
To be fair though, that collection does seem to be in very nice condition, they are very often falling to pieces.
