Just because wlw or mlm couples may be more equally matched physically, than a man and woman, doesn’t make it any less abuse. There have been murder cases involving same sex couples and the situation escalates because the DV isn’t taken a serious. The case of Tawnee Baird, who was murdered by her girlfriend Victoria Mendoza, is a perfect example. Their relationship was toxic for years Victoria had broken her teeth, etc. and she only faced minimal consequences until she went all the way. My point is… if Alfred had jumped on a woman the episode wouldn’t have aired and this should be treated with seriousness. The way he did it without hesitation leads me to believe it’s not the first time he swung on his partner.
