ОтветитьBought myself that ep in 1983 and got addicted to N&J&me...still one of my all-time favourites, I adore the musicians and the way they interact live...pure energy. Love it, will do so forever ...thanky you KC
ОтветитьMostros!
ОтветитьAdrian Belew is criminally underrated as a guitarist.
ОтветитьFabuleux !
ОтветитьI identify as wheels, moving wheels. I am a 1952 Starlite coupe
ОтветитьUsed to cover this. 🏁⭐🏁
ОтветитьCan anyone tell me who plays the bass here?
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure that I've heard this song - in one form or another - at least a thousand times.
ОтветитьI saw you guys do this at the Detroit show. So amazing in every way.
ОтветитьMy favorite King Crimson tune is Asbury Park from the USA live album. Your drumming is so fluid and John Wetton's bass is amazing. And of course Fripp's guitar is like a laser. Astonishing track.
ОтветитьLOVE this band and all the players. Saw KC LIVE in NYC in the early 80's. Bill, you are a MASTER drummer and I have followed you thru your career in Yes, UK, King Crimson, Earthworks and anything I can find. Thank you for posting these vids. Keep on rockin!!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing with that quality!
ОтветитьI saw you guys live in Utrecht NL at the time! Great performance of the band!
I've always loved your drum work, bought a lot of records you were playing on.
I'm still dreaming bout a car trip cross the US...
5s 6s and 7s in and amongst a 4/4 pulse. Scrumptious
ОтветитьNo hi hat.
ОтветитьAwesome doesn’t describe the wonderfulness.
ОтветитьGenius!!!!
ОтветитьHe had the wrong sound settings when he came in at the beginning. At first, I thought he did it on purpose, and it sounded amazing! lol
Ответить"There's no electricity or chemistry without some friction and negativity." td
Ответитьthis is my favorite king crimson song
Ответитьgod, what such demonstration of mastery and flawless technique. Beat is not between my favourite albums of KC but in live is other thing. I've always love the solos from Fripp in the las part that they are inspired from the albums that he made with Andy summers.
ОтветитьBill, this is great, but what I love you the most for is Starship Trooper, especially the “speak to me of summer” sections.
ОтветитьSumptuous :-)
ОтветитьHappy Birthday ,Mr.Bruford! <3 ☀
ОтветитьHappy Birthday Bill and thank you for posting this video. Man I remember hearing this song on KROQ in LA back in the 80’s, driving on the 405 or the 101, and just feeling so alive. How is it that listening to it now can evoke those same feelings in my soul? Love to you Bill, Adrien, Tony, and Robert.
ОтветитьBrilliant. This is such a clean copy; the one posted and taken down before not half as good. My favorite Crimson song ever.
Everyone seems to be having a blast. And Bill looks about fifteen years old. Thank you for posting!
This concert is of the best musical performances ever. Waiting Man and The Sheltering Sky is impossible to beat. I love this so much
ОтветитьEsos tambores me hacen mover todo 🌻
ОтветитьKing crimson goes talking heads
ОтветитьIncreible... faltan palabras para describir la genialidad en la composición, y la excelencia en la ejecución. El trio de cuerdas es de otro planeta.
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьBrilliant KC! One of the best tracks from "Beat". What a fantastic band. Best of the 80s. Also Bill, thanks for "Gradually Going Tornado". Was listening to it, volume turned up, on the way to the golf course this morning, and on the way back.
Ответитьwhat is the secret of your snare, please master😢
ОтветитьThat description of the different gig venues should be carved in a plaque and given to every aspiring musician!
Bloody brilliant.
The material from "Beat" is much better live.
Ответитьhappy birthday bill 🎂🥁🎶
ОтветитьBelated Happy&Healthy B-day Bill, I seen this tour at piers show in NYC -You & Adrian opened w/waiting man🤗
ОтветитьBill Bruford, no matter what music you play, you always looked so calm, relaxed, totally in tune and amazingly at peace!
ОтветитьIt has to be mentioned how Bill innovated the use of electronic drums in the 80s. Up until that point they were not used in serious music but mainly in Pop bands and
movies and TV soundtracks. Bill was one of the first drummers to use the Simmons Drums as a real musical instrument that helped change the use of these unique drums.
BEAT is seriously underrated.
ОтветитьNever miss an opportunity to see any of these gentlemen play, even if it’s only a video.
ОтветитьWhat a killer groove! I saw that band!
ОтветитьMan, what I wouldn't give to have seen this lineup live. Bill is widely regarded as the "best" prog-drummer for a reason. Tony is one of the most incredible bassist/chapman-stick players I know. Finally, Robert and Adrian are just the most amazing guitar duo I know - they complement each other so well. Love Adrian's funky and expressive style, the polymetric ostinatos they play, the gamelan-influences and Adrian's singing.
Ответить40 years ago...amazing.
ОтветитьThe greatest group of musicians assembled on one stage, ever!! I can’t even think of a close second. 👏👏👏
ОтветитьYour wit, soul and talent, complement any kind of music you have been involved with... Thanks for all these years and many years to come...
ОтветитьRedefined the term “supergroup.”
