Very very close to being illegal serve due to his foot placement on or over the center line!!!
ОтветитьIllegal!
ОтветитьHe never serves this legally in competition. Let's be honest.
ОтветитьIt just a regular topspin forehand with very little pace. What’s legendary about that? An actual tennis player will return that serve for a winner.
ОтветитьPretty slow serve.
ОтветитьVery nice D:!
ОтветитьWhat a joke!
ОтветитьIllegal now
Ответитьso why does this video get so many likes?
ОтветитьHonestly, I’d rather see it in real speed
ОтветитьThe slow motion sweat drop 2 seconds in is the best part about it lmao
ОтветитьHe makes contact with the ball above his navel often (bending his knees doesn’t change this fact) as well as the paddle head is sometimes above his wrist. Either of these makes it illegal. Why not just have a legal (hard) serve
Ответитьoverrated
ОтветитьIt feels like pickleball was invented by someone who thought tennis was too difficult
ОтветитьI think it was the first serve I learnt when I couldn't play tennis😂😂
ОтветитьWTF is this serve so legendary? It’s the serve that poor servers sometimes use in tennis!
ОтветитьPinker ball, what a joke, the noise all is a reason to ban it.
Ответитьyour overexaggerating
ОтветитьMy mentor says to me...get the serve in. You can't win the game on a serve but you can sure lose a game.
ОтветитьWow, no way us “regular” folks can do that legendary serve. I guess I need to train for a few more years.
ОтветитьIs the load pushoff more from the back leg or front leg? Looks like the back foot comes up off the ground at the end?
ОтветитьBen Johns : "Amatuer..." ,:)))
ОтветитьWhy is everyone saying it’s illegal? I’m new to pickleball
ОтветитьNothing legendary about it lol. I see kids hitting better serves on rec courts 😂
ОтветитьLegal
Ответитьmy grandma serves harder, geez
ОтветитьThis is the most amazing serve I have ever seen in my entire life. Take that Ryoma Echizen
ОтветитьIf pickleball keeps its momentum going all these top players are going to slowly get exposed by new talented innovative players only time will tell
ОтветитьFerrari Forehand 🏎️
ОтветитьIllegal
ОтветитьIf by legendary you mean illegal, then yes it’s borderline legendary
ОтветитьWestern grip?!
ОтветитьWhat's legendary about this? Looks like an easy serve to return.
ОтветитьNext time, show one in slo-mo from a tournament. Pretty good chance you'll get an illegal serve.
Ответитьjust a regular swing
Ответить"Tyson Mcguffin" ...
are they trolling us? that sounds like the name of Adam Sandlers opponent in his new pickleball happy Gilmore movie 😂
That's legendary?
ОтветитьFake news people! This Video does not show his "Hot" serve. Instead, this highlights his "get it in" serve, similar to a 2nd serve in tennis. It is 100% legal and satisfies all 4 components of a legal pickleball serve. However, the shown vid does not reflect his heavy, hard top spin pressure serve! I respect and really think Tyson is a fantastic person who works hard to grow both his brand and the sport of Pickleball. However the reality is, he's been getting away (is not the only one) with breaking one of the 4 serve rules in pickleball. When you analyze his real serve, not the one shown in this video,...: #1. Is it underhand? YES. #2. Is he using an upward motion, YES. #3. Is he contacting the ball below his Navel/waist? Most of the time so we will give him the benefit of the doubt and say, YES. #4 Does he keep the top far edge of his paddle below the wrist-bend at contact. NO NO and NO. It is so fast and hard to see but when you slow it down, it's evident he doesn't do that all the time. He is both lifting and rotating his paddle upward to create that heave spin. Again in this video, he performs it legally. However, when he goes to his "HOT serve" he does not. They should either change the rule or enforce it. During Tyson's r\"Hot serve" he stands almost parallel to the end line, but that's not shown here. Typical of @thekithenpickleball to not do their homework and just try to gain clicks.
ОтветитьWow, that was legal….. probably because he knew it was going to be shown in slow motion.
ОтветитьWho cares?.. Doesn't do sh*t. Half the times it's a service fault
ОтветитьHA! The only thing legendary about this serve is how is still uncalled for illegality. The greatest hoodwink “pull the wool over the refs eyes” motion in the entirety of the sport. Y’all best pray I only referee tennis and not switch over to PB cuz this BSer would be SOL on my court.
ОтветитьFinally shows paddle above waist at impact.
ОтветитьLololololololo
ОтветитьEven with a Killer Serve there's more Side Outs than Points Served by around a Third. An example is when the score is 9-6-2 for instance, that'll be 15 Points but usually with 21 Side Outs. Perhaps just flipping how Points are Scores to the Receiver wound make for a quicker Game (Server(s) only have to Win One Serve but still not get a Point)
Ответитьlegal!!
ОтветитьHaha I was serving from that same court just today! The Picklr in Davis County Utah
ОтветитьLots of drive up on the ball from his legs lifting through the serve.
ОтветитьGreat shot! Not a fan of these serves though, should be underhanded (no spin) or let loose and not have many restrictions.
