It's a 4th generation trying to compete with 5 generation, how do you deal with that? We got to stop pouring money in these old AIRCRAFT and do better at getting with the real program , Our tech is old, come on, face it .

Someone may have already asked this but the Archives truly show it as an F-15E for aircraft 91-309 but why did they take the CFTs and POD mounts off?

The dragster of the skies. Even at 50 years old. Yes the Raptor has vectored thrust and the F-35 has....hell....variations.....but none have the legendary kill ratio of the F-15 and never shot down. Egypt proved that in 1981.

After living on an Air Force base that had 15's on alert, I wish you all that haven't experienced this knew actually how LOUD that is. We lived about half a mile from the end of an active runway where they'd blast to an unrestricted climb like that. Pictures falling off of the walls in the house, car alarms going off everywhere.....Good grief. They'd even do it in the middle of the night (rarely bit it happened).
