You got me to see and understand being poor. lmao. Man if I had money....😂
ОтветитьI wonder why camera makers don;t allow you to put your custom settings to be loaded via a microSD.
ОтветитьIt’s worth pointing out that this is the cheap hassy.
ОтветитьYou can use Sony and Hasselblad menus as the Hasselblad is so wonderfully simple. Add a Fuji to the portfolio, as I did, with its big complex menus and I just got in a muddle. Patrick
ОтветитьKoenigsegg is pronounced: kow-nuhg-suhg
ОтветитьI could see saving up for this. Rather save up for this vs some other luxury item. I would get a lot more joy out of using this vs other luxury purchases at that same price point.
ОтветитьPicture quality, period. This is probably the current pinnacle. I love the simplicity of the design. Designed to do one thing and do it exceptionally well👍
ОтветитьWhen you demonstrated that amount of detail that could be retrieved from the small building photo my jaw dropped! Blown away here.
ОтветитьWhen you said Nokia you showed a picture of a chair and now I have questions
Ответить❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьFascinating and thought-provoking video on this amazing machine/work of art, Tony! Now I wonder how the IQ compares to the Fujifilm GFX100S, in particular lens sharpness and image detail, because I think I read years ago, that Fujifilm actually makes some of the Hasselblad lenses...of course please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
ОтветитьSounds like the apple of cameras, super good, but annoyingly bad
ОтветитьNo thanks
ОтветитьCan you use it to film a video?
ОтветитьThank you very much, for such an expensive camera its good to know about exactly that things you were talking about. It is an eyecatcher for sure and i think it puts fotography to another level if you are used to that standard dslr cameras the market offers to you. Thinking about to buy one, like for a lifetime investation. I think you dont need something else after that Hasselblad.
One thing scares me though, that running arround with a 14k camera arround my neck thing... Well no risk no fun i guess.
With focal plane & HSS strobes - HSS "slices" of the strobe output get narrower with faster shutter speeds eg 1/1000th - less light captured overall. But leaf shutter in theory should be fine - seems to not quite sync properly - worth re-checking everything, esp flash output power graph - esp power rise/fall time. Different flashes have different flash 'gates' - I assume the faster gates (more expensive units) will be best. Re competition, the new Fuji GFX100 ll is a similar price but has many more features. Fuji lenses expanding - no doubt more leaf lenses and T-S will follow. Pixel shift is never a good idea unless you are on concrete down a mine in the middle of nowhere - no vibration!
ОтветитьLongevity. Will DJI support for these camera systems be similar to their drones ?! Will they be supported / serviced/ parts available in 10 years time?
ОтветитьYou sold me. Now the money...Ahh, that's the problem. One day...
Ответитьawesome for studio but not much else
ОтветитьI think the Battery doors are for weather sealing
ОтветитьAmazing, just got a mortgage and bought 20 of these beauties !!1
ОтветитьHi Tony. I have one on order to collect on my 55 Birthday. In your honest opinion is it worth it over the new fujifilm gfx100 mk2. I’m a stills only shooter.
ОтветитьIf they said it’s dji camera and it’s made in China then lower the price more, I’ll be willing to pay for it……
ОтветитьI am a GFX user. I still admire Hassy's design and integrated ssd storage.
ОтветитьMy dream camera that i can never afford. I dont care about video, I'm just passionate about taking photos.
ОтветитьYes defo want to see the Fuji GFX 100 review!
ОтветитьDoes it shoot video ?
ОтветитьIf they make a full frame camera with this body, I will buy it.
Ответить$12-15k ... ouch
🔥
I don't think Tony likes it very much.
Ответитьthe flash t.1 needs to fit within the leaf exposure, so if it's 1/1000, the ad600 would need to be set at a lower power. 1/1 on ad600 is something around 1/200. Not sure what power level you'd need to adjust it to off the top of my head though.
ОтветитьIs there a Hassleblad with a video feature?
ОтветитьYes I would love to see a comparison of the hassleblad and the Fuji. Would love to check it out like you said but, but there aren’t any camera stores anymore, sad.
Ответитьso important and extremely relevant you mentioning the dangerous aspect of carrying such cameras, specially lately when society has lamely shifted backwards safety wise among others. Appreciate the on spot reminder about expensive gear in public spaces. I hope it'll pass and will get better. It's risky business documenting life these days. Thank you for sharing that thought. Stay safe!
ОтветитьHave it, love it, superior all the way! Support your comments on profile icons and a few other bits and pieces, since I had the earlier model & all lenses, finding it hard to get the newer versions of some of the lenses, but eventually will need to! Overall it’s a great tool and never go travelling with out it! 👍🏻
ОтветитьWonderful, Made in Sweden, but the sensor is an 100MP SONY sensor!
ОтветитьThe Fuji has better color and let's acknowledge that Fuji made ALL the H series Hasselblads, including lenses.
Hassy never made film and their color algorithms, compared to the GFX 100, pale in comparison.
Its like the glass slipper that you can only wear to the princes party.
ОтветитьThe autofocus sucked big time! Just a terrible performance.
ОтветитьI simply adored the beauty and design of this X2D. So I now I have it. I've a Nikon Z6, soon to be a Z8 for everything, but this Hasselblad will become my travel companion. Your comments on security are moot, and this is not a cheap product to insure, though insure it you must! Great review, thank you.
ОтветитьAmazing video
ОтветитьThanks for a nice presentation of X2D. There is unfortunately one major drawback with Hasselblad cameras that is good to be aware of, and that is that the files are not to be edited with Capture One. It is, as I understand it, a political decision by Capture One, even though the company is now spun off from Phase One.
ОтветитьNice report, well balanced. O own one and thought it hits the spot. Patrick
ОтветитьIt is strange that it took them 3 iterations to get to this point. Everything in this model apart from the sensor was possible when the X1D launched. And that's a shame.
ОтветитьAgain ol' Tones & Chelsea - You nailed this point - This is much like Leica - Hassy' is a conundrum in that attracts too much attraction from riff-'raff types - We're all poorer for it too, particularly on the street level...Tragic. Great photography is going unnoticed - uncreated - out of....fear...
ОтветитьNo, thanks. I don't need one of these, I wouldn't buy one even if I could afford it.
ОтветитьWhy you don't compare these camera with Fujifilm GFX 100?
I want a comparison between this two expensive cameras.
😊 Tony, it would be so nice if the Sony and Hasselblad raw files could be downloaded for pixel peeping. Hasselblad‘s Phocus can be downloaded from their website. I’d really be interested to compare this on my Studio Display. Specially that 16 bit files utilising HNCS I’m keen to compare.
