I had one done today with no numbing or anything and I almost passed out. I could barely stand afterwards.

I’m so scared to get this done 😢

It makes me mad that men do this procedure. They think we have little to no feeling in our cervix. It HURT ALOT!!! It feels like being stabbed in the guts.
Give women better pain management than oragel or a tiny bit of local anesthesia. Unacceptable.

Cervix is highly sensitive

Hurts like hell! Doctor was to get 5 samples but I only could manage 4. 🥹🥹🥹🥹

I had this done today. It was very uncomfortable but no pain during or after with local anesthetic.

I literally just had one done today. They took 3 biopsies. Definitely not the worst pain, but I wasn’t exactly comfortable. Just tons of cramping, and I felt like I had to pee so bad.

I had it done today . No biggie honestly. A bit uncomfortable. Slightly mire than pap . In and out within 5 min .

I had this few hours ago and still hurting. I fainted because of how dizzy I was after. It hurts like bad period x100

They took 5 samples…each time. It’s so painful even the thought makes my stomach drop

My doctor gave me local anstesia and warned me it is going to hurt (it felt like a bad period cramp) he was great! They kept me for 20mims to make sure I was ok and not gonna pass out😅 not because of the pain, it really is like a shock on you body

I had to cancel mine and schedule it with aesthetic just him grabbing the cervix was so painful😢

I think I had this done and I was so dizzy afterwards. I got anesthesia but it still hurts!

If you have this done.
I suggest you request for local anesthetic.
Doctors are taught that women have none to few nerve endings in the cervix so they don't use anesthesia.
Unfortunate for those who are on the side of having more nerve endings.
You read stories of those who experienced this and that it wasn't that bad but you also read stories of those vomiting from the pain.

Better safe than sorry and advocate for yourself.

This is not to put people off.. but to be fully informed ..
I have had pain constantly since..amongst other problems.. (see the rare side effects) There are people who have had long term side effects following lletz.

When reported to nurses ..its been dismissed..

It’s not a pinch. It’s a HORRIBLE torturous pain.
