Sig Sauer MCX Spear LT vs. CMMG Resolute MK47

There's really no comparison, the spear is going to have bolt issues. The cmmg won't.

Sig makes half baked products designed for people who don’t know how to operate a gun (the military in general). Very low standards of excellence, all guns they produce are garbage

I’ve had the CMMG Mutant for about six years and mine has been bulletproof. I’ve not had any issues with the rifle whatsoever through almost 4,000 rounds . The only thing I changed on the rifle was the charging handle. An AR pattern rifle with a beefed up bolt that takes standard AK mags is a total win in my book.

Yep! The CMMG MK47 is awesome!!!

Want to add the MK 47 to my collection but already have the Sig 556xi Russian. It shoots with the stock folded or open and uses regular AK mags. That is one reason I would opt for the MK 47 and not the Spear. Don't want to use proprietary mags.

Stock mags is the way to go

Well I have an idea.....(insert sarcasm)... How bout you take the suppressor off of the Spear LT so it would actually be a more fair comparison.. seems like common sense to me but guess not.. geez..

I love my Sig Spear LT. I have a muzzle brake on mine though.

I'm with you. I love the folding stock on the Sig, and Sig makes some good stuff, but overall if I had to pick between the two, I'd go CMMG. And I will always refer to the MK 47 as the Mutant.
