I am from Jersey, and Leone's is still open, and it does get crowded on the weekends. Pizza is definitely top, a littttttle bit pricey, but worth it. Whatever Gordon did worked!

Being Czech-American, I understand when foods and names of foods are butchered. Kolache being one of the biggest by Americans making them savory. Czech is one of the hardest languages to learn so you give people a break but Kolaches are not savory by history. Just as calumod is not calamari.

Michael should've become a used car salesman. Doesn't get flapped easily, and when he does he recovers quickly. All show but no substance.

I felt so so bad for Mama Rose! Michael could of at least taken care of her restaurant while she was out ill. Dude your Mother was in a coma and couldn't take care of herself for 2yrs and Im sure she would have, if she could!! He should have been ashamed of himself for the damage he did in such a short period of time. I also understand that A LOT of the restaurants that Gordon visits to help are also to far gone financially that its impossible to turn around especially if as soon as he leaves they go right back to there old ways. Gordon can only do so much and sometimes a restaurant or menu makeover just isn't enough to pull them out of financial ruins!! And just heard Michael point the finger at everyone else and what more they could do around the restaurant BUT himself!!! He is either feeding his face, sitting in front of the tv, having seasoned staff do the ordering for the restaurant while also creating the schedule for staff.... Still they could do more?!?!
Only the strong survive that have potential. However my heart goes out to Mama Rose 🌹 She deserved some peace prior to passing away and I pray that she did💜🩵🤍🩷🙏🏾

If I were to make a tier list based on how respectful owners are to Gordon from all seasons of KN, Michael would probably land in the top 10. If anyone's wondering who's top 3, it would be Greg from Zocalo, Greg from Black Pearl and Jim and Jeff from Capri

In the restaurant's defense, trying to cook one of everything on a menu that size in such a short timeframe is nuts. Every other episode, he only orders a few items. Maybe this was him trying to emphasize that the menu was too large, but it seems like Gordon was setting them up for an initial failure. I get how his tough love approach can be a bit abrasive, but this is the only time I've had an issue with approach.
