good video. Honestly, unless you need a tv, don’t settle, save until you can afford the tv you want. These are 5 yr purchases, if you skimp now just to save $100 or $200 you’ll be looking again in a yr or two and you shouldn’t be spending your last dollar on a TV anyway if a couple of hundred is that big a deal.

I agree with you, there is no perfect tv. I've had a run of bad luck with TV's this year but I landed on the 83" C1, on it's way!

Good stuff, Channa. I'm not able to take advantage of the TV holiday sales but I am hoping the Super Bowl sales will be just as nice if not better. I agree to save a few dollars one should consider mid-range TVs (Hisense, TCL, or Vizio). From that lot, I have seen great things about the Hisense U8G and it's great for gaming and movie watching. Right now the 55" is going for $750 at Best Buy and Amazon.

Good video Channa. LG pricing in Canada is stupid. The 83” C1 is on sale for 2g’s off and it’s still $7000. Sony is much more linear vs US pricing. Actually, Sony pricing is slightly more favourable to Canada vs USA. Got a ridiculous deal on my 83” A90J. Happy TV shopping everyone!

Picked up Sony UBPX800M2 today, I want to see how much better this works than my Xbox Series X. Dolby Atmos and Vision is sooo glorious!

Got my budget tv for this year. TCL series for $499. Great picture.

Good deals on Sony a80j and lg c1’s both excellent tvs but the lg being the winner if you game I’m still rocking my h1 vizio oled so I won’t be buying one this year

I was thinking about going with 65 in hisense u8g and putting it in my living room. I have the xbox series x and ps5 and 7.2 denon avr-s950h. Do you think that is the best option for gaming and movies for $1000?

A 55 inch TV is about as big as I'd go since my place is so small even my old 37 inch HDTV fits in, so I'd go for the highest quality screen I can afford, and since I own a PS5 I'll settle for a 48-55 inch 120hz depending on price and availability.

I am so torn between these OLED TV's. I am trying to decide between 80J or save up a90j 65 inch. Right now 65 a80j is cheaper at this time. A90J have not come down in price. Then almost time for CES and new TV's what In the world do I do. I watch TV (FIOS) and Apple TV content. This will be my first 4K TV. Techno Dad it's cool that you respond to as many questions as you can. Can't afford 83' nothing.

I think if we had TV color & brightness settings akin to Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop settings, imagine the amount of presets you can save as well as the amount of adjustments you can do. I know not everyone is advanced on that, but think about it. I would love to change the blacks and whites separately compared to having both of them together on one slider knob which is the brightness setting.

Back in April I got the 77" LG GX....Looks so beautiful when flush against my wall. I want the 83" C1 but I love the HDR effect setting that the C1 doesn't have. At this point I need to just sit down shut up n enjoy my new 5.2.4 X4700h with my soon to be BasX A3
