This trailer does not do this show justice at all. They should have used the one they had for Channel 4. It's a Sin was one of THE best dramas I've seen in years!!!
ОтветитьThis scares me so much the fact that so many died to didn’t need to
ОтветитьEven now this scares me
ОтветитьThis is so sad, as a gay guy, though slightly younger, I experienced the last years of HIV devastating the gay community during the early 90s.. It was a horror.
ОтветитьThis is one of the best, worst things I've ever watched.
ОтветитьI always loved this Pet Shop Boys songs

ОтветитьWhat’s the song in the trailer?
ОтветитьIf you liked this you should definitely watch the Swedish series “Never wipe tears without gloves” by Jonas Gardell. It’s phenomenal.

ОтветитьThis show really moved me, I’m a naive 21 year old gay male and it’s really encouraged me to go get a HIV test and get on prep. Loved it !!!
ОтветитьLa!
Ответитьhey people could someone tell me if when it comes out on the platform it was already dubbed in other languages, I wanted to know before signing, I want to watch it dubbed in Portuguese my first language, thanks
Ответитьthe greatest show ever.. but too short
ОтветитьOutstanding performance from all casts ! Great series .
Ответитьneed a show like this again 😭
ОтветитьSafe * would’ve greatly lessened the number of people lost to this disease. Other incurable diseases existed so I don’t understand why safe * wasn’t the norm to begin with. What is it with men of all sexualities and their zeal for unsafe ***? With that said, the true innocents (children and infected partners) taken by this disease I have no judgement towards.
ОтветитьI haven't watched this yet, but it definitely feels like I need to suggest "the normal heart" to whoever hasn't seen it yet.
Ответить"I just want to be happy" got me in tears
Ответитьloved this show
ОтветитьThe Swedish version from 2012 (Don't Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves) was far more emotional than this. But its stil realy good.
ОтветитьIf you say euphoria is sad wait till u watch this
ОтветитьIs this show similar to Pose?
ОтветитьTV's not getting any better, is it?
ОтветитьSeriously best series I have ever watched. Giving u everything you have to know about history of hiv. I really loved It and also OLLY 😍
ОтветитьRussell T Davies best work in fact the best thing by any Welshman.
ОтветитьLoved this show
Keeley Hawes was fantastic
Best show ever I watched all the episodes tody
Ответитьeverything hbo does, strange as it may be, it does great
ОтветитьI loved Pose, as a millenial I had no idea how bad AIDS was and how many people's lives it took. I'm glad that this show is out and to educate us on a virus that was devastating to so many people who lost their lives.
Ответитьso...this is gay???
ОтветитьWhat's the song?
Ответитьnews from hungary: due to our fascist government led by viktor orbán this series can now be shown to adults only. in hungary it's still the dark '80s.
ОтветитьIf the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36 KJV
ОтветитьAs someone born in 1984 I struggled with this series a lot. I'm from Wales and there was so much hype about it but I only saw it recently.
I'm from a very cuspy generation. Being openly gay was not OK in Wales in the 1990s, especially in the rural parts. I still remember doorbells on gay clubs with thick black doors and bars on the windows, how your heart would race as you stepped inside. Gay clubs were populated then, as it was pre-internet and the only way to meet people was... to meet people!
Section 28 was abolished the year I left school.
My issues with this series is that it's a bubblegum version of what happened to so many gay men in the 1980s. The characters and script are from 2021, not 1981. The cast was unrealistically diverse, even for London 40 years ago.
The Olly character was infuriating and it was unforgivable how he spread it around. I also disliked the gratuitous sex scenes which of course we know Russell T Davies loves. I just found them unnecessary.
The character I identified and sympathised most with was the mother. Keeley Hawes deserves a BAFTA for her acting. The mother wasn't a bad person. She was trying to protect and love her son in the only way she knew how. I think RTD was actually trying to elicit sympathy from the audience in a strange way. As if asking for our forgiveness, which is something we have almost forgotten as a society.
It's very difficult for younger gay people today to understand just how hard it was to be gay not so long ago, and still is for many people. A good 15-20pc of society will never accept it and sadly that's something we as LGB people also have to accept.
One of the best TV series of the year. With love from Russia
