Build a Responsive Dashboard with Firebase data in Flutterflow

Would love a tutorial on calculating data for the dashboard. Right now if seems like it can only aggregate total amount of entires. (query collection - count)

ex: on financial dashboard, getting the sum of all sales to show revenue on dashboard.

Is it only a custom function that can do this to date?

Where is the light mode in the actual FF designer itself... should be easy to find but FF UX has made this difficult to see.

I wish more of the teachers kept the Newbie Beginners mindset in mind by at least slowing down, and to explain the functions and WHY rather than just Assume we understand what all the buttons, terminology, and functions are. There was many “Okay just click here, do this, do that do this….” And I’m like wait whaaaat, and Why?… It makes it hard to remember without reasoning or logic behind it. One must have great memorization and a level of coding language and all. It’s hard to keep up sometimes. It’s not just this video but many other No code tutorials

@Andrew @flutterflow .. here are some thoughts.. 1. can you list different type of files mostly word docs or pdf, then view them inside the app . To go further may be edit word files . Upload, View , download and print. Then lastly it will have version history

2. An approval process for a form and same for a calendar . Let’s say a leave management app . To go further we can sync that calendar with Google/iCal/outlook calendar

How to update a created task? Like if I had created task name "ABC" and now I want to change task name to "XYZ".

Please there's no discord community and I can't get into the Flutterflow community. I need help in debugging an error. I keep getting the late Initalization error on test mode. I have a bunch of ui and no custom code or backend calls. I can't figure out the issue.

Could someone demonstrate how to use GraphQL queries and subscriptions in FF? Alternatively, if anyone is aware of existing resources on this topic, sharing them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I really hope flutterflow can make it easier to work with other databases. Firebase is awesome, but is certainly not for everyone, everyone who has one single customer from China can not use firebase as database. All google services, including firebase apis, are completely blocked in China. By making firebase more or less default, you are essentially abandoning the Chinese market and any company who also wants to make service accessible to any Chinese customer, which I don't see why should they be denied. I hope flutterflow can make connecting with supabase or mysql easier in the near future. Perhaps making a connector with wordpress can also be a good idea? It will certainly help a lot of small e-commerce businesses. Thank you.

i hope flutter flow team will focus on the backend data connectivity tutorials because they have already put enough work in the front end and they made it quite easy even for beginners . But the problems comes with the backend quiries , tables , connectivity and connecting data either from firebase or in flutter flow . I have been waiting for this kind of video since 2 months . In this video they showcase a complex app to connect with fire base for backend, I hope in next video we could see a simpler app with detailed tutorial .
