What is going on here is..y'all have the professional type..not my simple home PC. It doesn't come with device at top and I use a V8 and just can not get any playback on mine. I ask what am I saving if I can't hear the playback?

Does this also fix an issue with recording a track and exporting it but there is no sound when playing exported track? When I was recording I didn’t use headphones to my interface. I never set outputs. I recorded a guitar track and when I exported it I found that the 32 second sample I recorded to make sure everything was correct had no sound.

Thanks for this video so I have the exact same issue but my problem is that I have all the audio settings still set up good but nstill hear no sound and sometimes when I exit the project and enter again the sound works and sometimes when I re enter it's gone again

How do i get playback from my soundCard(Behringer umc22). I keep gettin playback from da Laptop speakers. Am using Cubase 5

I had a similar problem with Cubase and UR12. On loading a project, the souncar disconnected itself and the PC locked. had to do a hard reboot o get it going.
The USB-ports on my PC (Lenovo) doesn´t deliver power of the quality the soundcard needs. When I switched the UR12 to external power supply and connected a regular Andriod cellphone charger, everyting works good.
