The driver who dropped the trailer appears to be a woman. Had she turned some driver down in the truck stop, because of no action of her own, of course? Many years ago, I was in a truck stop for a meal when a female driver for the same company I was with stopped to chat. She told me that I wouldn't believe what had happened to her. She said she'd spent the night at the truck stop, and while having dinner another driver kept hitting her up, which aggravated her. Macho Trucker finally went his way. You know, "The rest of the story" (Paul Harvey). Fortunately, her trailer was empty (dead heading) and several Male truckers managed to raise her trailer and have her re-couple. She was fortunate that no worse occurred! 🔦✝

All these Western Express, Swift, U.S. Express, and Knight drivers out here banging bridges and I freak out when I rub a tire against a curb. I'll find a place to stop ASAP and check the tires. I can't NOT watch my trailer's ass end when turning. And no, I didn't forget Schneider, my worst enemy. Twice they've almost caused a wreck with me. That's what THEY do. They almost cause wrecks. I aint perfect though... I went down 3rd st. in Louisville, KY on my 3rd week as a driver (9 weeks total).... but I didn't actually hit the 11 ft. high bridge I came face-to-face with. The police were happy as hell that I didn't even attempt to go under the bridge and were happy to help me back into the 3-way intersection behind me. I still felt like a total clown.

I’m a driver for a trailer leasing company in Florida.. sometimes a driver, drives right past the guard shack.. Goes back in the yard. Grabs a random trailer and comes up to the office.. and in broken English says, “ I have trailer, I take”
We say that trailer is rented to someone else you need to stop at the office for your paperwork .. he says “ this good trailer”..” “I will take”.. what country is that normal behavior in?.. I’ve never done that in my life,, and none of my friends have ever done that….

Btw the way drivers I used to take my big work truck home and still NEVER wore flip flops in it once. Not went shirtless. You represent the name on the side of that truck anytime you’re in it. I wouldn’t disgrace my companies name to look like an idiot. The key is to attract customers and businesses not repel them

The funny thing with the bridge is the dang mirror has the height of the truck in its view not to mention most companies now post it in the cab somewhere visible as well to prevent this mess

When I worked for Fairmont Supply here in Fairmont our Washington PA main branch drivers and even a manager there hit the same bridge so many times they banned their drivers from using that route completely. That’s pretty bad
