Omg this is not 2021 model in the old 2020 model what wrong with north America why are you so behind times. Your supposed to be a first world nation but your driving old dirty car with engine from last century. Come on stop kill our planet getvwith cleaner car 1.6 t with hev or phev.
Again what is it with the 3rd world dirty fuel the usa should be usingvthe cleanest combustion fuel we have one petrol one quality of petrol with a mini oct 95 max 99
With two ethanol rating 5% and 10% but Germany tends to have poorer quality of fuel and is often fined in eu for it poor environmental standards but that said it still equally. To 🇺🇸 premium fuel. Usa need to take the global environment more seriously. You think your this great nation well your you're the turd of developed nations. You need to stop taking these old engineered cars. Those engines are dirty

I really love the design and options on the Hyundai, but I drive a 2020 GMC Terrain with the option of 2wd or 4wd. I have a mix of city and highway driving and leave it mostly on 2wd. I have been averaging 27.4 fuel economy and I’m not a delicate driver. The poor fuel economy on the Hyundai is what has kept from me from leasing one. Excellent review.

Is there a certain time that would be best to buy the 2021 since the 2022 will be coming out?

I only buy new cars....to do that i usually wait till the next model year to drop and then with the current year they are price them to move....You can get a Tucson at the price of a Kona or even a Venue.

I've been car shopping with my sister for the last few days, and she had a lot of options. I found this video to be incredibly helpful and it really touched on so many points that most reviews don't. She just decided today that she has chosen the 2021 Tucson, and I am happy for her.

On a side note, I own a 2013 Elantra with 113k miles on it, and I drove it across the country towing a 1500 lb. UHaul. It hasn't let me down at all, even though that model year is supposed to be garbage. I love my Hyundai!

I just bought a 2021 Tucsan Ultimate . I watched this video, not sure why, 19 min. was way to long for a video that "was as expected". From my own expectations I thought this car was going to ride hard and bumpy and have no acceleration power. I was quite surprised how smooth and comfortable the drive actually is. Acceleration wise, I won't die entering the highway like I thought I would sometimes while driving my Jeep Cherokee. Never owned Hyundai but pleasantly surprised. Great SUV for the price and all it's perks.

If you buy a Hyundai (especially the Tucsan and Santa Fe) be prepared to spend minimum of $175-$500 every month on BS problems you will never experience in a quality car like an Honda. Every other month you will have to replace 1 0f 6 to 8 catalytic converters that go out for no reason like clock work one after the other. Your gas line will need replacing, then your gas tank that rotted from the inside for no apparent reason. Your check engine light will be on more than it is off. When you finally replace the entire engine and decide you've had enough, and sell it for next to nothing, you'll buy yourself an Acura and realize that it never needs maintenance, that it isn't normal to be without your car every other month because it's in the shop again, and you'll swear like I did to NEVER buy another Hyundai again!!!

Put off the really nice ones until 2022. But you’re not going to get the five or $6000 worth of discounts they are offering now. In December 2020 in Columbus Ohio I can get a SE Value For about $21500 in the SE for about $19,600The VALUE is well worth the extra $1200 or so. If I am going to spend more than $25000 on an SUV it would have to be a little larger than this one.

I just saw a video of what the 2022 that came out this month. Maybe its coming as a 2021.5 Tucson. No comparison. Like Toyota did between their 2014, 2014.5 and 2015 Camry. I'd wait everyone. The 2022 Tucson is Lexus like. Great video.

The reliability probably took a major dump with their models that came with the DCT transmission. There have been constant issues with them that even lead to a class action lawsuit. They have now discontinued that transmission but many of them are still out there and will likely effect their reliability scores for years to come. My 2017 Tucson is currently in for a second transmission replacement due to the issues. Otherwise I really love my 2017 Tucson, so much so that I'm considering a newer one with a different transmission just to get away from the DCT.

Below average reliability but comes with one of the best warranties? I don't get that. Either Hyundai enjoys throwing money away or they fight you when its time to use that warranty.
