Will these steps (Mix L&R) works Also with the 12FX version of this mixer?

I recently found a good deal on the 12FX model (USB 4in\4out), however, the driver of that model shows input 1&2 are fixed (you can't change them) , also it shows input 3&4 (and you can assign them to Mix L&R .
Sorry for My question it's just too confusing 😅😅. As far as I understand that phones accept only 2 channels and I thought I might ask you for an advice.

Why USB hub is used? Since mixer is powered externally

I’m sorry. I’m not understanding. Why didn’t you just plug directly into the camera connection adapter? Why did you have to plug-in to the USB hub before plugging in to the mixer? I thought you only use the hub adapter when you needed to have power?? You mentioned you weren’t using the power.

So is this setup reliant on a Soundcraft mixer in order to work?

Or can another kind of mixer with a USB out get the job done?

I have a Yamaha mixer. Am I out of luck? Let me know if there are any other mixers I can use with my iPhone to make the signal path you showed us here work.

I just got my notepad,
As you cited on the video we don’t require any other extra hub since the mixer has it’s own power source.
However when I connect my iphone 11pro Max it says that the device “requires too much power”.. does it mean im doing something wrong? Or it cannot be used without a powered usb hub?

Great video! I have a question about the Notepad mixer. Let's say I'm in a remote location where I'm unable to plug into an AC outlet, is there a way to convert the DC into USB so I can use a portable charger to power the mixer? Of course taking the amount of volts/watts into consideration

I’m currently using an iPhone 7. I bought the exact same equipment shown in this video and followed the instructions. Somehow I don’t get the same results.

For my current setup I have my mic in Channel 1 and my music in Channel 2. However, I can hear the music and my vocals through the mixer but when I press record on my phone to test audio music and vocals don’t come out and my phone microphone is still picking up the background.

I have this board, and I have been trying to connect my laptop with tracks to sing to and a vocal mic, and mix them to my Samsung for live streaming. I have watched a few videos, and this comes closest, but I am having trouble getting both the tracks & vocal to my phone. Can you assist?
