I have a USA phone and they do not have OEM unlocking. I believe it would have to be an international phone.

A video on how to de-google a Google phone? Irony! The software is made for pixel phones, which are made by Google. May be a workaround for other phones, but it's not so simple.

Also. Many apps won't function without google play services. You will get an error message on these apps saying "something went wrong" and a message that mentions to check and make sure that google play is enabled and that the app is updated to the latest version. Without enabling google play, the app will close after dismissing the error message.

Definitely recommend GrapheneOS for privacy, and this channel has very good introductions to privacy.
But the false "actual footage" claims actually harm the credibility of the video, even if it's tongue-in-cheek.

What if you're unable to unlock your device because of the carrier but can download the apk. Would you recommend downloading that way to get aurora/fdroid?

I absolutely hate Google and the constant having to prove I am me with them.

This phone is backed,it's been bullying abusing me and programming my subconscious mind into believing i don't have a y word or value,they tried to make me kill myself, a deeply f*** up damaged me psychological by playing mind games,narcissistic psychopaths, know they behaving like nothing happened and returned to the love bombing phase,soon they'll be abusing me again and trying to get me to kill myself

Its not just google, if you go down the rabbit hole youll find some real horror stories deep in your phone, like samsung analizing and sending every single picture you take to their servers and scanning faces in them to tag and make albums, or shooting wifi queries 7 times a second on the A20 and sending the data collected all around you on devices, routers, etc... it takes multiples days of work, and massive dedication and concious effort to be able to degooglifie yourself alone, it would take everyones effort, but people are brainwashed and dont care

I would have done this if Waze wasn't apart of it but I am not deleting Waze the number of tickets it saved me, I drive a lot so until there is something better I am going to be tracked by Google..
