Is it smart to run an insanely high dpi like 9000 dpi with a 0.05 sens ?

Hey how long would you say it would take to notice improvement in hitting strafing targets while you are strafing? I have the same issue as Anima and I’ve actually been using the routine (as well as other routines) to try to improve on this aspect but I feel like I’ve seen minimal results. I’ve been doing the playlist 5x a week for 2 months now , not sure what I’m doing wrong. Voltaic Diamond (Master static) and ascendant in Val btw

Hey I made some aim labs tasks based off of what you said in this video and while I haven't had instant improvement I can instantly feel that I'm actually fixing my aiming problems now. Thankyou so much

If you use a low DPI like 400, it's a lot easier to only move horizontally because (like you said) it takes more movement before the sensor picks it up. I think that's why a lot of pros in CSGO still use 400DPI.
I tried using 1600 and 3200 DPI a few days back but with CSGO my cursor goes to my second screen when flicking. Even if it doesn't go to my second screen (flicking the other way) the cursor becomes visible and flickers.

DPI doesnt cause pixel skipping. Its high sensitivity which causes it. Your DPI and in game sens should somewhat be in sync. If you're playing low sensitivity then you're fine with low DPI. If you have a low DPI but really high sens then you will skip some pixels. Small amounts of pixel skipping will not really matter. I mean if s1mple is playing with 400 dpi then you should be fine too.

sry for the long comment. I am currently an imm3-ish player. I used to play palm claw until I changed to fingertip last year and saw massive improvements in hs%, general mouse movements, 180 degrees turns, kovaaks scores its actually crazy but I also have seemed to develop the same problem as this guy I just can't hit people counter strafing I simply lose no matter how bad the opponents are. I tried the playlist and I am absolute dogshit at the dynamic scenarios I really just can't seem to hit anything maybe 1 target in 10 sec or something like that. Should I continue doing this playlist or start any basic dynamic clicking scenarios?. Also could this be because I am mostly trying to go for headshots

I want to use a higher DPI like you said at the end but keep my same sens… my old sens was 0.345 / 800 DPI… If I make my DPI 1600, I get 0.00021562 as sens when I divide it and I can’t put this sens down in Valo.. I’m sorry I feel stupid or I’m doing something wrong, please help.

So I run 800 DPI with .35 sens, if I wanted to go to say 1600 dpi, what would I have to put my sens to account for the change in dpi?.. (to feel the same in game)

I like this format. Also you seem to understand what you're saying at a higher level than most people would, down to the neurochemistry lmao. It was very fun hearing about neuroplasticity in another video of yours. You earned a subscription as you seem to be a very cracked aim guru, keep the vids coming. If I were a pro I would definitely trust your advice on aiming

hey mr west proter,

I recently subscribed to your channel and been watching alot of videos you posted (20+ by now)

You had this one video where you talked about reactive tracking with a GM- and mentioned VRT and said you have 215ms reaction time average

Let’s say a human averages 130-140ms.. how can he maximize the use of this? especially in valorant

hey west, just a quick question about rawaccel. so i want to go from 1600DPI to 6400DPI to use a more accurate accel curve. however, i also want to use a 0.25 sens multiplier so navigating the desktop isn't impossible. do i need to multiply the curve cap and offset by 4 as well to replicate the same curve on 6400 as the one on 1600? i noticed with 6400 the dot on the curve moves 4 times faster even with the sens multiplier set to 0.25x.

so I saw a video of yours talking about limiting distractions during aim training. I have ADHD severely. and it is hard to stay focused. do you have any advice for that? I would like to aim at a proffessional level and have put 100's of hours into aim training and haven't gotten nearly as close as I'd like to. any help?

Michael Park - 17.07.2022 17:03

I like both formats! This one was cool because we get to see a person's input on how certain training suits them better and it serves as a better example of what a person's individualized needs are.

Idk if you take requests but could you do a video on hand independence in the future? I'm realizing one thing inhibiting my Kovaak's aim from translating to ingame is that I'm trained to think aiming while moving is innacurate, so my "aiming" brain doesn't actually turn on until I counterstrafe. I wonder if that's different between people that grind tacfps vs. arena shooters.
