the new x app is rather convenient compared to the previous app. You will need to update the camera firmware to be able to use it. I've had no issues since the new app came out

How can you not mention the leaf shutter and high-speed flash sync ?

Honestly the best way to transfer JPEGs is to use a usbc or lightning to SD reader, apple sell them. Then you can switch off Bluetooth in the camera settings and save battery ❤

To counter not having to use the Fuji app I bought a USBC to SD card reader for my iPhone and it solved all my issues wanting to get my jpegs right away.

What are your flash settings? Your slight over-exposure was nailing that 90's look. Do you set base exposure for the background?

The plan of focus corresponds to a 23mm focal length, not 35mm, since it's a 23mm lens. The crop sensor has nothing to do with how easy/hard it is to focus, it just crops.

I have this camera and it takes me 2 seconds to transfer images to my iPhone, you have to setup one of the buttons as single press

You are missing the shutter button but buy the ones that come with a rubber ring or it will keep coming off the camera. Cheers.

Is the (continue)-eye-autofocus better on a canon m6 mk II, or on this Fuji X100V, i cant decide between this two cameras..

So for the Bluetooth issue connectivity reset everything and name your actual iPhone. Sometimes what happens is the id of your iPhone changes causing connection issues name it for example M.O and once it locks it in the connections will be smoother . ✌🏽peace and love brother

THey can't put ND filters on XT5 and XH2, but thy put it on a compact camera, just to proof they are shitting on our face :)

I completely agree with everything you said. My Sony is my work camera, and I hate lugging it around if it isn’t for an actually shoot. My x100f is my everyday camera and a joy to shoot.

How do you put the cinebloom filter with the lens hood attached at the same time? I understand that hoods come with an adapter ring, but do you need an extra for the cinebloom. Thanks!

I wish they made a native 50 or 75 mm equivalent x100. I’m just not a fan of the 35mm equiv focal length. For ergonomics alone however, I’m very happy pairing the x-s10 with the 35 1.4. It’s just perfect, if only it was weather sealed and had a built in ND.

I tape a 1/4 CTS to that tiny flash, crank up the shutter speed and use it as fill to shoot against the sun. Works really well.

Also I have found that just a little strip of black gaffers on the front of the camera where my finger tips rest, it helps with the grip quite a bit.

This is a nice classic looking camera. But for me, I have to stick with my Sony rx100 vii . With 24-200 2.8 fixed lens. Plus, it has a panoramic mode that makes unbelievable photos.

Wow! Fuji really did invest big time in hyping up the x100v lately. They must have a new model coming.

I feel the Fuji x100 series and the Xpro series will be cameras that will truly stand the test of time and they will still be around with people shooting them in a decade. Fuji definetly made something special with these.

Love those flash photos! I’ve had this camera for a few years and i feel like there’s so much i don’t know to get the max out of it. This is making me want to pick it up again

The biggest annoyance I have found on this camera is the switch to move focus modes from M/S/C on the left side. It is so clumsy to manipulate.
