This Might be a stupid question but if the singularity still has infinite gravity, would the event horizon and the darkness just kinda reform?

Thank you kurzgesagt, i now know where my lost socks are. They are in the singularity of a blockhole. And stupid me used to think they where somewhere in the house

What's inside of a black hole and what's outside of a black hole? Nobody dares to check, as they are all afraid of the electromagnetic field, even if the black hole is in our neighbor's house, or into his pocket.

what??? you can't do such thing, what are you talking about? by mere definition, like the only way you could possibly define to "destroy" a block hole is by separating the mass, and how exactly do you suggest to separate the mass of such a huge gravity well? is literally impossible by definition I literally don't even understand bro... I'm trying bro... but...

wow, this is extreeeemely filled with pseudoscience, like many many times more than a usual kurzgesagt video, usually more than 50% of it is regular science, but this one is craaazy, like wow, at this point you can just say literally whatever, the cooler it sounds... well... the cooler

The "censor" hands covering up the singularity are a pretty obscure joke - physicists refer to the theory that it's impossible to have a singularity without an event horizon around it as the "cosmic censorship hypothesis".

Actually i have an idea, a better one, 4: harness hawking radition energy, we can use a vacuum that will suck the electrons off of the spin and sphere, the horizon, or initating hawking radiation speed increase, we can turn the future energy into present energy, what are black holes? Condense energy from collision and speeds etc. So wouldnt that mean the singularity is just super hot energy in a pocket dimension A bag that is slowly losing its cotents, like a bag of sand

Meh, we don't "know" that singularities really exist. In fact, most physicists think that encountering a singularity in calculations means that there is something wrong with the way we calculate. We have never ever encountered a singularity in real life. Only in calculations.

This video is.. fun & interesting, but confuses me. I don't think presenting the event horizon as a shell is really very helpful since it doesn't actually exist as a thing; it's just a term to define the point at which space is contracting faster than the speed of light. It might be better to present the event horizon as a moment in time at which it becomes too late to do anything about.. some event, or perhaps as the border between two timezones on Earth when a given event happens.

Also, I'm not sure why you say that a black hole with a singularity but no event horizon would be safe to travel around, given that the gravity well of that singularity remains the same (as it was at the point at which the event horizon disappears), as does its gravitational pull. Removing the event horizon would only mean removing enough mass to slow things down to at or below the speed of light, & outrunning a gravitational pull drawing spacetime in at anywhere near that speed would still be very difficult. I'm going to assume that travel must include some sort of faster than light engine since that's the only way this makes any sense.

Even so, there's no reason to believe that spacetime would go weird around a singularity without an event horizon since any singularity in that state would not be massive enough to draw in anything faster than the speed of light & would thus not mess with time. You can't have a singularity massive enough to break time without getting an event horizon too, & you can't remove an event horizon without the singularity losing enough mass that it could no longer break time.. because the event horizon is not a thing, but a consequence.

could the singularity be considered to exist after the end of the universe then? also if the gravity is so dense it rips the fabric of reality is it even possible to touch the singularity or would reality just not be traversable preventing any interaction with the true singularity?
