Hamas posted many videos showing its sharpshooters taking out Israeli soldiers who failed to take the simplest precautions. The IDF's reputation has been shattered. Recently, the IDF leadership admitted it cannot defeat Hamas. Moreover, a rift has opened between the IDF and Netanyahu. IDF is now calling for a Gaza ceasefire - which Netanyahu will not support because it would be the end of his political career. There is no military solution to this conflict. Let that sink in.
