RBI eases FD rules, allows premature withdrawal on term deposits of up to Rs 1 crore

Can someone share a link to the RBI notification or release? We closed an FD two days ago as part of a death claim and the bank has charged us 4% penalty on the death claim.

Why limit their money they will remove anytime they want. As bank charges sky rocket. It's difficult to have one bank account these days. But corruptions in govt politicians etc If you manage to control that our country will prosper. In the name of corruption don't limit hard earned money of middle class which is kept as emergency funds for surgery, operation, or sending the kids fees etc. Who brought corruptions previous govt in India
