Does it have a v6 or 4 cylinders yet? nope no thanks. I love you toyota, but revving the shite outta a motor 24x7 every time you drive it just to go somewhere isnt good.

121c oil temp and it looks like he wasn't out there that long. Why don't these guys add oil coolers stock. You can't track this car seriously without one. Its a negligible weight and cist increase for so much more reliability, nor sure why they don't do it stock.

This development and eagerness to hear their consumers feedback is why I absolutely love Toyota. I completely agree with the seating position being too high as well in the GR Corolla. I love my 2024 GR Corolla, but something tells me they're going to go crazy in 2025, like 330hp, 315ft lb torque, 0-60 in like 4.3seconds, haha!! I'd get that one for sure!!

So are these changes following over to the GR Corolla across the pond? I have the first generation Corolla and those changes look pretty sweet. You should come over and drive the Tail of the Dragon, US-129. 13 miles with 300 and some odd turns.

Amazing, Toyota has been killing the car game for decades! I want one of these SOOOO bad but I can't afford one. At least I now have my dream car, 1997 Toyota Chaser. The USA was robbed out of these JDM legends for 25 years. But it's here now. I really wish Toyota would start a heritage program for us Toyota fans that barely got to enjoy these amazing machines. I mean 25 year old window moldings need to be changed but there's no support from anyone for parts.

There is a reason Toyota got their reputation as a super reliable and good company all round. Love the 3 part bumper cos that's super expensive to replace a whole part that's great. Everything toyota does is great in their sports area. And the rest as well but love that they are pushing new improvements even at this stage of petrol vehicles. Infact Toyota has always shunned EVs and I love it.

That dashboard is hideous, screams poverty. They somehow made it even worse than before.

Does this mean that the Yaris GR is officially a Golf GTI killer?

I still prefer the old prefacelift 2020. Looks much nicer inside and outside. the interior of facelift looks like its a mercedes bus...

I wish Canada would get the GR Yaris. It would be such a blast driving it in the winter in Montreal. It would be a great competitor to the Subaru WRX.

I have no intentions of buying the automatic version, but good for Toyota for putting in a torque converted one, everytime I drive my sister's GTI dual clutch it just sucks. it'll be great on track, but city speed, especially stop and go just suuuucks, i've even stalled it once! stalling an automatic transmission! Never happened in a torque converted one for me.

I have to say, the torque converter gearbox I had in my bmw m140i was equal to or maybe even a little better than the dsg in my mk8 golf r. I like the idea of this yaris in an auto. Either box I got, though I'd always want the other one 😂

I would absolutely kill for one of these in the US. It would be my perfect daily. The fat GR Corolla isn't nearly as appealing to me.
