YES! thanks for coming out and for the great tips! These techniques really make a difference as I know first hand how much dust I usually get. What a difference! Thanks again Brian!
ОтветитьWhat do you do if you don't have fans? I would have to open the garage door and figure out some fan set up & block off the other area that doesn't have a fan.
ОтветитьHey dude , I spoiled my car as i was painting my car first time without any experience. I am 34 now. Working as a mechanical engineer.
After spoiled my lovely car with messy paint I was looking for help and then i found you here. I found all those techniques and informations that i should have learned befor painting. You're a wonderful and very talented painter in the world.
Thanks a million for all your experiences that you shared with us. Respect from New Zealand.
Nice work, you can save so much money doing this kind of stuff DIY style. I also have training on how to do paint and body work on my channel bio.
ОтветитьThat was very good, I learned alot
ОтветитьI thought I recognised the spray booth from another video I watched, then you started laying the red down and I knew it was the Boosted Boys OG red hatch! I imagine you took a trip out to spray a nice, fast Honda @paintsociety as you seem to have a liking for them.
Ответитьone question ? i thought reducer was to thin the viscosity of what is being sprayed while the activator/hardener was for drying ?
ОтветитьCan’t believe people pay so much money for professional paint jobs when you can do it your self but if you don’t have the time to do this then it’s understandable
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьIm super glad that you like to teach and instruct others because it would be a shame for your thoroughness to go to waste. thanks
ОтветитьYou have done it well brother thanks so much
ОтветитьGreat job. Looks excellent.
ОтветитьAre you located in California?
ОтветитьDo you have to prime the entire car or can you paint over the original paint.
ОтветитьDOPE!
ОтветитьGreat video! How did that clear not run on the drivers side? Haaa. My blood pressure went up watching u go so slow. Lol. Again, these vids are amazing.
Now that is a "pull me over red." Looks great!!
Great job!! Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьIs that boosted Kyle’s civic?
ОтветитьPainting with water based paints, I think the way I get a good finish is a retarder. Can’t looks great!
ОтветитьUnbelievable job fellas!👍👌
ОтветитьIt's a nice video, but there's one thing you've done wrong.
you do everything to remove dust, and it's super nice of you. and with the knowledge you have and show in the video, it is something that I am surprised that you do not know and that is
You use a 400-600 microfibre cloth to wipe the car's surface as the last thing before you paint.
and there are 2 good reasons for this.
the first reason is that microfiber cloth in that thickness will make your surface electric and this will attract dust in particular. the dust you have on your arms while you wipe the car's surfaces and the other reason is that your microfiber cloth may have difficulty keeping the small thin fibers stuck to the cloth if they are exposed to that type of cleaning.
I would recommend a microfiber cloth which is intended for wiping glass or windows. they are not so thick and they absorb much better and speed up the wet liquid and there is less chance of them leaving fiber on the paint which can look like a hair that gets into the paint when the car has been painted.
That’s incredible, with just the first clear coat? Wow!
ОтветитьHey guys. Quick question? What about rain guards for your windows? Can I just prime, and paint, then clear? Another question is, aftermarket spoilers for the trunk or back window? They’re plastic, in black. I wanna paint them white to match my car? Is there anything special I need to do, to prep these items? Thanks👍
ОтветитьWatched from start to finish. Great video. Results look great 👍
ОтветитьI have an 87 F150 that is in decent shape, one little rust hole on the bed above the wheel well, but tons of surface rust. I’m thinking I might take on this as a project for it. Great and informative video.
ОтветитьLook great what about 2 colors please let know I have to painting my 88 chevy
ОтветитьBrand new viewer here, I want to thank you first off for all the information I have gathered from watching your videos. It has really made the idea of tackling this DIY with 0 experience less stressful.
I do however have a question that I can’t seem to find an answer to that I trust. I am doing a modification to my car that will require bondo work on a small portion of my hood and front bumper. My question: when it comes to only painting a portion of a hood, do I need to remove clear coat and re-prime the entire hood or can I just prime, base and clear coat a section?
My concern is that the clear coat will not match the rest of the hood if only doing say 1’ up from the front of my hood.
Excellent tutorial. Don't know if I will ever paint a car at home. But now I know what it takes.
Ответитьamazing job
Ответитьshe's so beautiful i feel like chewing her!!!
Ответить👏👏👍👍 thank you for video
ОтветитьGreat video, wonderful results.
ОтветитьI like that color but all the links are clear coat what is the color name
ОтветитьYou know what, half way threw I realized I’m not going to be able to pull this off by myself and the rest of the video is kinda pointless to watch but the way you explained everything & laid out all the details of what to’s & what nots…I ended up watching the whole video and learning a whole lot. Thank you for the crash course and one day I’ll get the balls to do this on my own…for now I got a friend who does painting in his garage so I’ll see if he can help me threw the process. 🙏
Ответитьhas anyone ever hand painted their car before ?
Ответитьso you just painted without taking the car apart and covered all the windows ?! :)
ОтветитьMakes me wanna repaint my car haha, really great job and I will for sure use your tips! :D
ОтветитьNice, great explanation of process. You make it look simple - that is until I do it, lol. I would like to paint my 2008 Jeep JK, currently black. Not so much as to change color but to add red (burgundy or crimson) as an undertone that comes through in direct sunlight but looks black otherwise. What are the steps for this? Thanks.
ОтветитьWhat fan did you have in the wall?
ОтветитьThat’s awesome!Thank you so much for the tips,God bless you!🙏
ОтветитьPainting my chevelle in a few days and will take everything i learned from this video. Fkn awesome. Thank you for this.
Ответитьawesome job
ОтветитьI'm going to start studying mechanics/body work and painting next year and for sure that I'm going to watch all your videos to be even better at it. Love that some people take their time and effort to make this kind of incredibly useful and educational videos and put them up for free for everyone to enjoy and learn. Thanks man 😊
