What was up with that "But Who May Abide"?

I see that one reviewer agrees with me that it was up tempo. However to rush "surely he has born our griefs and carried out sorrows" is truly blasphemous. As that is the whole purpose and mission of The Messiah Jesus Christ.

My performing arts school vocal major choir performed this every year around Christmas. This is bringing back a lot of memories for me. My schoolmates who were the soloists back then and how great they were. How we always made fun of one of our vocal instructors singing "Rejoice" not knowing none of us had the breath control to do what she did. And just learning the peace as a whole. When you're actually singing in the choir you can't actually hear the full sound of the choir sometimes. From the audiences perspective. It sounds so full. But when you're performing and learning it you just want to enter on your marks and stay on the scale while still trying to hear it. It sounds and feels different on this side of the stage. Love it 😊

Wonderful performance but does it mean that there is no black skin person in the country of this performance?

I wish to thank these musicians and other orchestral musicians for being able to allow us to hear and listen to truly beautiful music! I only play Baroque music in my car.
