Worlds of Magic: Planar Conquest Switch Review - 4X GOODNESS?

I wonder, its the last day its 90% off, worth a shot or am I just never gonna play it anyway?

This looks very average games and in a time when there’s so many good to excellent games on my pile of shame, I don’t really have time for this.
Looks like it needs a patch or two
Can’t imagine that text is easy to read in portable mode

I know it's not excatly the same type of game, but when i See the World "Magic" i always thing of the Cards game.

After the Excellent Slay the Spire and the very good Steamworld Hands of Gilgamesh, I would like to see Magic Arena or/and Heartstone on the switch. (and don't talk to me about the others "free to play" cards games already available ;-) )

I see elements from Master of Magic, Civilization, and Heroes of Might and Magic in this game and I would rather play any one of them instead.

While I love the return to strategy, this one seems to have far too many numbers for my liking. Too much micromanagement. One thing I really loved bout This is the Police & Rebel Cops is how it really simplified all that down.

Got a code from the devs as well via a forum. Another review where I couldn't agree with you more. It lacks polish. It has some great elements, but all and all I doubt I'll put in many hours. 6/10 hits the mark pretty well. Worth it for enthusiasts of the genre.

Are there any really good resource management games on Switch? I’d kill for Frostpunk.

I love turn based strategy games, but this one doesn't excite me at all. I wish Age of Empires would come to Switch. I put soooooo many hours into Age of Kings on the DS.

Love the reviews but you never seem to give a lower score than 10/20. If you're saying that the sound is poor to terrible, then surely that warrants a lower score?

Cheers for this Glen and Marty for the write up. Your voice sounds off in this Glen? Not a bad thing but different... Never played this before on PC so looks an interesting pick-up. Will need a demo to get a hang of this strategy game.

Why do the graphics have to look so bad? It's 2020 and there are plenty of one-man-teams putting together far better graphics.

I'm glad the strategy genre is being represented well on the switch.

This game looks like it draws heavy inspiration from one of my favorite TBS games Age Of Wonders... I played the first three games and those were wonderful games... I hope they release a trilogy collection on Switch... Also don't like Age Of Wonders 3 which this game follows most of the times...
