Should I Pray in Faith and then say, "If it's Your Will, Lord?" | Q&A

Hey BEAT family! Today's video is SUPER short but hopefully will clear up something that I see a lot of Christians being confused about. Someone recently asked me, "Should I pray a prayer of faith and then end my prayers with, 'if it's your will Lord?'" They were concerned that if they did that, that would send the message to God that they really didn't have enough faith to believe in their own prayer. So, I address that question/concern in today's video. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts!

What if we use scripture to support our prayer? God has to abide by his word.

I agree we should pray that God's will be done. And it's not lackinG faith. But It's understanding that God has the last word. We must understand that God will either respond with a yes or no answer to our prayers. Whatever he says goes. Even Jesus prayed, "Let thy will be done, Father, not my will." Luke 22:42-44 confirms that.

The goodness of God makes rich and adds know sorrow with it. It is his will that you prosper and have good health even as your soul prospers. I believe & receive it

No! Don't pray if it be your will. It is God's will for you to be healed, delivered, have answered, be prospers, to be renewed, strong...all that is good is yours. Amen

When it pertains to things like healing tough. Isnt it clear that its his will to heal?

In a sense it is in “His will” God is not going to give you what you ask for all the time. Yes trust God on all things!

My mom has fallen for the prosperity gospel, and believes you shouldn't do this. I believe you should, as if you submit to God and be content with what it is His will to give you, anything he chooses to give you further is a blessing.

Sadly, she's extremely stubborn and refuses to be told otherwise.

Always recognize The Lords Sovereignty in all we pray. Jesus gave us example after example how to pray and asking Gods will be done. Love your discernment lessons in this time of extremes on all sides, love this.

If you are sick and are in need of healing DO NOT PRAY “if it be your will”....!!! For out of gods sovereignty he will heal you at times but the prayer of faith is not based on if it be gods will because if you wanna know gods will you gotta dive in scripture..... for the promises of god is yes and amen !!! So I am here to confirm to whoever’s reading this that it is gods will for you to be healed ... but understand you don’t say if it be your will you stand in faith declaring the word of god over your life and stand on his word !!! That’s faith .... if your sick to whatever sickness or disease etc you say to it ...i take authority over you (whatever sickness or disease) in Jesus name ... and in the mighty name of Jesus christ I command that you come out of my body and I release you from my body in Jesus name ... for your word father god declares that Jesus was wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities and the chasetiement of my peace is on you lord ... so I declare over my life in the name of Jesus Christ that by your stripes lord Jesus I am healed from (whatever sickness or disease) in Jesus name .... and you stand in faith and say lord Jesus I thank you for giving your life for me so that I can be healed and as I receive my healing right now as I thank you lord for healing me .... and after that you BELIEVE!!!!! Don’t question it don’t worry don’t fear no matter the symptom etc ... for in the spiritual realm you have been healed and at that point your just waiting for your healing to manifest in the physical realm and you stand on faith saying thank you Jesus for healing me everyday til it’s manifested .... and god will give you grace to keep you til it’s manifested in the physical realm.... that’s FAITH!!!!

Curious. I commented a couple of months ago on this video and apparently there was no valid answer to my comment concerning the prayer for all to be saved. It is according to God's will, it is in the name of Jesus and according to scripture it is promised to be granted. How do you deal with that? Seems pretty straight forward.

I've always prayed and asked that the Lords will be done because I know through faith that his will is more perfect than I. He will always choose first for us, even while we choose second. Thanks for the video brother Parr, love you.

Absolutely !! Allen my beautiful sister passed away from Covid 12/31/21. We prayed ( me specifically) for almost a whole month while she was in ICU. I always had faith that my lord will heal her and bring her back but ultimately I knew that it was in his hands . That it is his plan and his timing . Not our selfish time or plans. We obviously would have loved to have her still here but it’s ultimately God’s plan in place. So there’s that understanding that we’ll ask and pray but we’ll accept what God has chosen. When he took her home, we accepted it as his will.

For those doubting if it's God's will for you or someone else to be healed remember "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed."-1 Peter 2:24. And if he already has healed you, it is his will for healing

The problem with that is that when say if it be your will, you're doubting it is his will
and also when it isn't shown immediately or the next day, you are more inclined to say it wasn't His will and miss out on getting your prayers answered

Michael Todd put it best: "Imagination is purified by intercession." If yoi can imagine it, it's possible, but God has a perfect will by which what YOU want should be purified. You might want to write a book that could be very evangelical! Take up your imagination with God. Surrender it to Him, and see what He wants you to do.

But——— it is Absolutely ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS God’s Will to Heal us——-

Hello, I just wanted to thank you for your videos they are great to listen to. I wanted to ask for prayers, I've had Crohn's disease since I was 17, I'm 46 now. My body has gone through so much in all these years that I just don't have all the words to describe the pain physically and more so now mentally that I've been through. If anybody here sees this please pray for me. I really believe God can heel me if he wants but I also see what your video is talking about and it brings to mind the way I ask God for healing. It's hard to be in the condition I'm in, I can't physically do any constant movement because of the lack of energy and pain I'm in. Thank you and God bless all.

Pretty sure we're told that when we pray trusting that what we're praying for has already been granted then that shall happen

We must first believe God is sovereign and Lord of the universe, both the visible and invisible.
Then EVERY PRAYER will, and must, solicit His Will be done.

The example Jesus gives us in Matthew 6, Luke 11, John 8, does not show that asking God's will is optional. ASKING GOD'S WILL IS NOT OPTIONAL according to the "ask", Allen Parr Jr. It is EVERY TIME we pray, praise, and give thanks for His mercies.

James' epistle confirms that it must be said of all our future and plans - as God wills.

I feel like if its something obviously in His will, then no we dont need to say that. Sometimes in certain things like "should i marry this particular person" then yes, we should pray "if its Your will".

Nothing wrong with saying, "Let your will be done." Shows honor, respect, and reverence to God acknowledging that he knows best in all situations and circumstances. Thank you for the video. I believe you explained clearly, bc at the end of the day, we are not omniscient.

The Lord will punish you Alan for saying such things, I promise you! It is not God's will that he save everyone that you yourself decide to pray for. You are a man of little faith but a big mouth. Even if God desires that everyone is saved he will not save everyone. It is only a desire. You cannot save a bad seed. You can pray for the devil and his children to be saved all you want but it will not happen.

The type of prayer that this moronic religious hypocrite was so terribly doing was effectively done by people who know what to say, how to do a partner prayer, pray in tongues, and/ group prayer in tongues. This guy was like a huge amateur doing all the wrong things at my expense so to speak. It's one thing to be an amateur but to know it and still manipulate coerce your victims and the hollering at me in public like a broken record was way over the line. I did CA his referral and give them a humility check!!!!! It's wrong to coerce anyone to do anything especially when they repeatedly told you no and you lie and lie and intimidate and intimidate and use trickery like a weistien victim horror story. People of God should not use abusive coercion bullying extreme peer pressure ect. Let it happen in a Godly way not double minded. You don't grab someone and throw them in a tub and hold the down hollering for baptism. Why would any Christian conduct themselves like this for any other spiritual ministering. It was very disturbing and definitely all about taking my power and coercion. It sounds like a rapist. Prayer should not occur like you are trapping and raping your subject into doing your will. This is sick.

Amen, amen, amen!! God does all things according to HIS will. Faith trusts Him no matter what His answer is, no matter how hard it may be to take ""No" for an answer.

But for healing, Jésus has took all our desease, at the cross. Thé word "saved" come from the greek "sozo", wich mean saved in our soul, mind and body. I believe that the will of god, about the body is to heal.

It has to be his will. Even Jesus said let your will be done.

Every time my parents and I would go on a road trip, we would always pray before we hit the road. My mom would always ask the Lord to help us have a safe trip if it be his will. One day I asked mom why she would always end her prayer with if it be his will, to which she replied she was letting the Lord know she was letting him be in control. I then asked is it ever the Lord’s will that anyone should get in a car accident or that some people should never be healed? We often think bad things happen because the Lord allows it to for one reason or another, which is sometimes true. But most of the time bad things happen because of things the Lord has no power over, such as Free Will. So when an accident happens because of a drunk driver, it’s not because it was the Lord’s will, but because the drunk driver ignored the Lord’s warning not to get behind the wheel while drunk. This is why I just say “Please” rather than if it be his will.

I believe it you’re willing to accept No as the answer then you’re really mean if it your will.

Jesus knew the will of God already and knowing the will of God, he wanted to ask His(Jesus himself) will at that moment. So because of that He said if it´s be your will. But He knew he had to die on the cross. That´s why he came to earth to do. So after He did everything, we do not need to pray if it is God´s will because the Word tells us what the will of God is. To be saved, to be healed, to be delivered, to be prosperous, to be holy, to be free, to be adopted children, we have received the promise of eternal inheritance. Hebr 9 : 14 - 17.
God revealed this to me praying: "if it is Your will", is unbelieve!
