Ableton Live Tutorial - Recording audio

this is a tutorial or an expert video? -.-

This tutorial is not for the absolute novice.

I can't even make a sound on Ableton without it distorting. Seems like everything is over 0db.

so basically you didn't even show or tell how to record over a loaded beat sweet thanks over complicating everything what a joke

Hayahay! great vid, but personally I'm am a super beginner so That was bit AAAAAH. I would love some advice: I have beats that I have been making over the last 17yrs. They are in mp3 format. I was making them on a computer console, but I did make good stuff. I have only just figured out that there is a way to get vocals on my beats (I'm getting old and don't have many musical friends). I went out and got my self a mac (which is a nightmare to use, never had one before) and the other essentials, monitors (KRK Rokit 4), interface (Scarlett 2i4) and mic (Audio Technica AT2020). So now I'm looking at it all saying to myself, ''what the feck now'' gone through the basic vids but still feel like I've gone from 0-100 in a split second. All I want to do is drag a finished beat into Ableton, then spend my free time creating and editing vocals/rhymes! Anyone with a bit of advice?

I have recorded vocals along with a karaoke on live 9...But the thing is when i export the audio the two tracks doesnt even sync at all... one is going with diffrnt tempo and vocals going off the tempo...eventhough i have set the same tempo fr both.... Hope you undrstnd my problm.... I m new to recordng... Plz let me knw how to fix this...??

I just sampled myself so damn much thank you dude, been meaning to get this rigged up a while

if anybody has trouble with your input not showing up or being greyed out, make sure you have in and out showing. ctrl alt i. or go to the view menu. i dont know if this is a common problem.but i hope it helps impatient people lol.
