MTP Method: Access Steam Deck SSD & SD Card from Windows PC

This used to work for me now it doesnt anymore do you have other method to make this mtp work?

this was working a few days ago under steam os 3.5.5, right when i updated to Steam OS 3.5.7, mtp is not anymore working

go to system settings, users, change password, DO NOT USE THE DEFAULT DECKY PASSWORD you'll forget it.

I was able to use this but when i upgraded my ssd it doesnt work now

Hello, I'm a fan of yours from Brazil, I did the same as in the video but it didn't work, searching the internet I saw that now you need to update the BIOS to Final 110 or 115, can you please teach me something that works in BIOS with Final 113 or otherwise via USB?

Or maybe a video showing how to update the BIOS?

Doesn't work. The plugin acknowledges drd but nothing happens when I plug a cable in.

Thank you for this method but be careful everyone if you change to DRD in bios, steam deck won't be able to read Bootable usb in boot manager but of course you can change it back to default and steam deck will see the bootable usb

Isn't working for me when I first installed the plugin it let me use it without configurating but my steam deck doesn't shows in my PC when I plugged it

This messed up my windowsOS on my SD, any usb is not being detected, i ended up deleting my windows partition
Now trying to install fresh windows but bootable usb with win10 is not being detected, too late the culprit is in the bios i reverted it back to XHC1, now bootable USB can be detected

I don't know why, but whenever I try this method the SD keeps poping out from PC, as if I'm unplugging it, and I have to toogle off and on again the Deck MTP switch. It's just so annoying that I can't actually transfer big files, because it'll always disconnect before it trasnfers completely. Any advice on this? Anyway, great video!

I think my deck is trying to connect to my PC but windows is popping up saying the last device you connected malfunctioned?

So, just to be sure, when I finish the transfer, I have to reset that usb ports configuration into the recovery mode?
