ukuleles are actually perfect for doom metal
ОтветитьWhat was the metal song called. Or was it just improv
ОтветитьJust get a good amp for like 70 bucks, and a guitar with good pickups.
Ответить"Pickups that would make your Mother cry..."? Sounds like my passes at the Ladies.
ОтветитьAn Ibanez RG can cover a lot of sonic territory.
ОтветитьDo you think its possble to play metal on a Strinberg STS100
ОтветитьDid you use a real song for your metal riff? If so please tell me what song it was
ОтветитьOk
Shred on a telecaster
Strat can do it all
ОтветитьI’ve been playing guitar since 1974. I am often wondered about this cause I totally agree with you. I play rock on an acoustic guitar and it sounds good. I have two electrics ones a Strat and the other is a Graach a Gretsch. I think the Grinch is pretty cool for playing Fingerstyle, like Chad Atkins did . But you can play almost anything you want on any guitar, so like you say you got the sound right and I know Tatian Rite go for it will work every time. Thanks for the video. I totally agree with you.👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️☮️🎸🎸😀☮️
ОтветитьPRS on Jazz and Silverstar on Metal didn't really cut it man. You've gone too far
ОтветитьI've seen a fair share of country on an SG. I've also seen plenty of metal on Strats, although I do admit it's mostly HSS Strats.
Shred on a Tele and get that country twang from a Jackson that's what we really want to see!
1000000%
You can play ANY genre on ANY guitar.
A good guitar can play anything.
Sure some guitars are made toward a certain genre - but that doesn't matter.
Ive seen strats and tele's play metal and they sound amazing.
Damn you can play the hell out of it when I get a band you're my first call
ОтветитьWe can play every genre on one guitar, we just need an excuse to buy a new one 😂
Ответитьtheres a very good polish punk guitarist that use a hollowbody for punk and it sounds great
ОтветитьIn my opinion, there should only be pickup recommendations for different genres. Nothing more.
You can play any music on any guitar.
By the way, I love my telecaster for alternative rock and my semi-hollowbody for heavy psychedelic and stoner doom.
Jesus loves y’all
ОтветитьShape, means nothing. It's all about the electronics, look at Justin Johnson playing shovel guitar.
Ответить2 years later, gotta say stratsa re awesome for metal
ОтветитьThe metal example made me sad. The country was an easy one, but playing metal with a single coil was not the answer.
ОтветитьTone is stored in the balls.
ОтветитьI like your message. Get outta the box! Like your playing too. Your demos were cool to listen to. Thanks for a great video!
ОтветитьDo not show this to your wife... We need different guitars to play good music. 😉🥳 (Hello from belgium)
ОтветитьPartially true. I love to play jazz, on my mexican Fender Strat, with the tone knob turned down. But Gibson Sg for country, i think its sounded awful…🤷♂️
ОтветитьI agree with your point, but why do you have several guitars tho??
Ответитьfender mustang with custom neck (same scale lenght, BUT 16 inches fret radius and new bridge) is good for shred :)
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤ 100% right!
ОтветитьAgree! I played for a band that covered jazz standards, classic rock and pop as well as indie songs. I have a 335, Strat and Tele. Depending on mood or which one has fresh strings was the one I took to a gig. All are great for any genre. Dial in tone and the fingers do the rest.
ОтветитьQuestion Do you own a steel guitar?
I think that this type is very inspiring and if you get a chance to play one then take full advantage and be prepared to be blown away by the resonances
Great video I definitely agree with your thoughts.
I also think that if any new guitarist should look at a guitar that has 2 single and 1 humbucker just like a Yamaha Pacifica range great value and all rounder I think without breaking the bank.
I love playing Metallica through my electro acoustic with slight distortion sounds amazing.
I recently busked and I love confusing the people walking past when I play something classical then switch to Metallica mode of master of puppets due to that TV show last year.
Great video and totally spot on 👍
Only one guitar and plays every genre on it
ОтветитьIt ain’t bout the guitar, it’s about the music
ОтветитьQuite easy: one guitar from each type should do 🙂
ОтветитьMoney video. 🖕
ОтветитьI do SOAD covers on an acoustic
ОтветитьRobby Kreiger use to lay down alot of tangy / bluesy stuff with an SG
ОтветитьMy Gibson SG plays everything
ОтветитьStill can't believe how well the SG works for country😂
Ответитьwhen he said the complete opposite of a tele, i immediately thought BC RICH WARLOCK!
Ответитьdo you have merch man?
ОтветитьWhat's the name of the Metal song he played ? that's so beautiful! Can we at least have a tab ? :D
ОтветитьWe all know one thing but we don’t accept it , Tone is in hands !!!
ОтветитьEl Hefe loves teles
ОтветитьI was really hoping "the last guitar for country" would be a BC Rich. Country played on a BC Rich would just be cool to see
ОтветитьYou do not prove your point here
ОтветитьI love metal and Telecaster is my favourite guitar.
ОтветитьAwesome! Yes, you can make any guitar work in any style of music!
ОтветитьYou do realize that Dave Murray of Iron Maiden primarily plays a strat, right? Using a strat for metal is a no-brainer. I would've like to hear metal on a hollow body
ОтветитьNot saying that you can’t use a a strat for rock/metal but 21 frets isn’t good for solos
Ответить
