For one, this makes no sense. Why would the person just shoot at them for no reason, not all heroes have hyper reflexes so just randomly shooting at someone could very much kill them. Two, that's not how venom works- You're thinking of Spider-Man when he was hosting venom in which he had Spiderman powers and the venom symbiote. If you were related to venom (which isn't possible because venom is a parasite you would be the child of the host not venom) then you wouldn't have Spiderman's powers.
