I'd be excited to see how we'd be destroying the world in ways we can't even imagine once we start really using other forms of energy production.

Inb4 harvesting the power of the atom does irreparable damage to the Higgs field or some bullshit, and we all start dissolving into our constituent particles.

The worst part is when they compare the energy consumption of the average EU citizen and the average US citizen (twice as much!). REDUCE should always be the first strategy!

You see, the reason why people don't want renewable energy sources is because it's not profitable. For coal, gas, and oil they are all depletable assets. Someone/a corporation owns it and then can sell it and depending on how big a project it is, other people can invest in it and get a piece of the pie as well which is usually how it goes.
With renewable sources then comes the argument of who will own the raw resources? Who owns the water? Does the business own a portion of the area? If so, what if someone's water source flows into someone else's? What about sunlight?
Of course, the reasonable people say "Nobody will own it. It's nobody's to own except God (If you believe in that)" but the affluent and evil billionaires don't care. That's why everyone wants renewable energy, but it's not being made at the speed it SHOULD be. Gas and oil's usefulness will PLUMMET and that is an extraordinarily MASSIVE market for the whole world. I don't think the world's economy will be able to recover if it changes too fast. There's a reason everyone is so focused on what the cost of a barrel of oil is

funny how technically all energy sources are nuclear, its just solar energy stored in compounds called coal and oil, or solar energy displacing air and water to actually spin turbines.

and the sun, is the biggest nuclear reactor in the solar system.

there have been recent advancements in Fusion reactors at the time of this comment, a few months ago they successfully got a net positive energy out of an experimental fusion reactor. we are one step closer to taste the sun

Try adding some facts to your presentation.

As much as I love Kurzgesagt, this video shows some pretty big misconceptions about what nuclear waste is: it’s not green glowing pellets stored in yellow barrels, it’s glass and ceramic sealed in virtually indestructible concrete casks. These casks can be safely stored miles underground on-site at a nuclear power plant, and this isn’t some new concept, either, this is something that has been done and is proven to work.

Green Part as I understand, stands for replacing fossil fuels with renewables with no place for Nuclear. I understand their evangelism against nuclear power has led to the nuclear plants being dismantled and fossil fuels being boosted.

Can anyone please enlighten me, on why Green parties are taken seriously by anyone. What am I missing?

P.S. I am for replacing the fossil fuels. But I believe that any solution to replacement of the fossil fuels which excludes nuclear and solely relies on renewables is impractical and laughable.

So, if nuclear power completely replaced fossil fuels, there could be a nuclear accident every month, causing 250,000 deaths (just one of them being worse than any nuclear accident in history), and it would still kill less people every year. While giving way more energy.

Yeah great. Imagine that in about a year time, the God that all of them elitist are worshipping decided to, "Let's turn off the 'Grid' and the internet". Can you even imagine how catastrophic that will do to humanity. Those renewable energy thing is not gonna do jack-shit. Everything is digital now. Those nuclear power plant it's whole systems now is on semi-automation, which means running computers. That is how the Western world will die. We people of the East have long prepared for this. Are you?? But before that, 'Disease X'.
