Suppose there are three holes on a plate. Each hole position tolerance from datum references is dia. 0.25 mm(no composite frame used).
Now, I want to change this definition to composite.
1) Do i need to keep dia. 0.25 mm (or) dia. 0.5 mm in the lower segment of composite frame?(not to change assembly requirement between holes)
2) Do i need to show relative dimensions between holes(or) Is it okay to show dimensions of three holes from datums?

Hello , Let us assume pattern of two holes with dia0.5 pos tolerance from datum A,B,C . Basic dim is 20mm between two holes. So in worst case, 20mm can reach max 20.5 , min 19.5mm. I assume we have 0.5 tol zone for two holes, so t/2 is considered for two holes. Is this interpretation right for stackups?. In case of composite is it same applicable for lower segment?. Appreciate your feedback . Thanks in advance.

This Video is Great! Both (1) a Multiple Single Segment (MSS) FCF is applied & (2) a Composite Feature Control Framework is easily applied and defined by Mr. Don Day, a Marvelous Instructor. His Family and Friends are Blesses by His Skills. God Bless his Talents seen on the GD&T Internet-locations!

Thanks for the video.
Would you explain more details how to INSPECT the 2nd segment?
Is that perpendicular of 3 holes to datum A?
Thanks
