200 hours? so thats like 2 weeks of gameplay?

I need help. So I'm 15 years old, and I want to try this game out. I'm already familiar with the following topics of: gore, violence, alcohol, nudity, etc. But when I put in my birth date, the game won't let me play because I'm not 18. I've already played games similar to this like LoTRO, Call of Duty, League of Legends, and SWTOR. Should I just lie and say I'm 18+ or play a different game?

Isnt it easier to farm Vaal side areas and vendor the 6 links for divines in Poe?

I've been enjoying the game a lot. Quite like how you can play it casually and not have to play it like a second job.
Been there and done that in PSO2 and while it was fun while it lasted, it was a massive time sink.

For everyone close to T3, here's a little tip as Ive read a lot of ppl complaints on the forums:
Run ur first 2 1100 chaos dungeon SOLO to make sure u get the full 1302 ilvl sets as the RNG is really bad for those gears and aren't buyable on market.
Lot of ppl are missing 1 piece and get stucks at 1100

I don't mind grinding... But having hours of grinning being invalidated by RNG is unacceptable for me...

Yeah, im playing for a week now, and i feel no pressure to get to the endgame at all. I have 3 characters im working on, my main just hit T2, working on adventure tomes, collectibles, doing some bosses just to train and get better at them, so much stuff to do. Its pve, and the content is here to stay, its not going anywhere. People just have this mentality that "I need to rush to the highest level/get best gear as fast as possible". Its miserable. And then they burn out and cry that there is no content or goals for them in the game :P Its the same in all games.

I am 300 hours in ftp, ilvl 1360. The game is still the same grindfest it was since level 1. There is no endgame in this game, your gear, class, skill doesn't matter, all that matters is your ilvl. And with the release of Argos I don't see this getting any better.

Basing your enjoyment on how others can get further than you in pve is a choice I will never understand. The game does have you press Procyon's Compass button btw which tells you about field bosses, ghost ships etc. There are also lots of catch up island quests that gain you enough mats with a single character to almost single handedly boost you through t1-t3 give or take a few days of grinding dailies. They don't tell you where or which quests but researching things about new games is part of the fun imo. Not saying you can't be upset about certain things but I just don't share the same issues while being a f2p myself. Alts do help a ton too if you want to climb faster.

Why did anybody think for a moment that this wouldn't be a scummy game for later content? It's a f2p Korean mmo. They're all like this

Want to know the sad truth? Alot of content that gives tonne of resources was left out of the game. I wish you could see the level of stuff tossed to you on the KR servers. Problem is because these catch up mechanics dont exist... it feels punishing to fail hones. I implore you to look it up... it's disheartening really.

Only reason i quit is due to no aussie servers its annoying getting out of a aoe attack just to teleport back

If I wanted a bird's eye view, grindy, dungeon crawler, I think I would just revisit Spiral Knights again.
Feels, hommy and there's only extra grind cause I am purposfully keeping all gear, from all tiers, instead of just farming for the next highest.

PS: How the hek does one write ''hommy'' with the same pronounciation as ''hommie'', but reffering to a place/object and not person?

I feel what you are saying about the time gated progression.. tho what I have learned is that the game kinda makes you make at least one or two alts because of the fact that if you just have your main, you kinda dont have much to do after 30mins a day. I for example have 3 alts in adition to my main and always run the daily content, which I proceed to sell for gold to then buy materials for my main. Then, when I reach a certain checkpoint on gear like for example reach T2 or T3 I do the research for less mats and better upgrade chances in my stronghold and up my alts, so that I can sell the higher tier mats in the future to better progress my main. Ofc its a big time investment and the pace at which you progress scales with the amount of alts you have the time to play on, but that is why I don't feel like its too big of a problem. The real problem was the fact that they released content for the people who almost exclusively payed money to get to a higher ilvl faster. Now they can get even further ahead than the others and make even more gold because of the argos items and accessories which are restricted to an ilvl almost no f2p can reach.
but enough ranting.. I am happy to see you enjoy this game because I have been watching you since 2017 on you warframe videos and even tho I stopped playing warframe a while ago I am still watching your videos because I love the way you narrate them.

Dont forget the island tokens, masterpieces, world leafs, tome books, rapport, etc x 1000..... the 1000 diffrent type of currency.... and on and on....
