It’s better for new players to start of on bj because it makes them learn good habits. Hj can lead to bad habits. Plus hj when jump stabilizing with something like sniper or senti dmr it zooms you to the next level. Constant use can fix all the problems with your claims about bj. Ps maybe it’s just me but my right stick click is a lot faster than yours. But if you’re just a casual use hj. If you’re looking for something more competitive or to teach good habits use bj. Both good.

I like Helljumper a lot.
But I have a problem... I don't use autostabilize. So, when I want to stabilize, automatically active zoom. And I hate that, because its much better HJ than BJ.

Bumper jumper is better as you only need to aim at long range and it’s easier to reset your aim when you get de-scoped

I'm more focused on the melee 🕵😨😓

Just to check, let's say I play bumper jumper. How do I quickly scope out if using a sniper rifle for example?

I never use smart scope unless it's within sniping distance so I use bumper jumper, plus I've been using it since halo 3

At first I was like, ‘no way. Bumper jumper is the superior set up.’ Then when I looked more closely I realised it solves a few problems. Like
jump-nades. Drives me nuts when I jump and a random nade comes out (most likely blowing up in my face) or twitching off of a target because you don’t click perfectly vertically. I may make the switch. Not sure as I’m a creature of habit and have been bumper jumper since the glory days of h3 (highest skill 46. I’m proud of it, as h3 was a much more pure, competitive game compaired to this 343 BS, but you freak 50s will say I’m a noob hahaha ;] )

I grew up with CoD so I just play Fishsticks

Fish stick is best in my opinion

I just use default I never changed it

I dont have halo 5 but when playing halo i like the deafult settings

I was playing halo 3 once and i chose bumber jumper to try it out and we lost because i got no kills and they just would kill me and when i would round a corner most of the time i got assassinated

Orrrrr they could just add a custom layout. Not just Halo but everything freakin game on the XBOX. Why not have 'default' AND 'custom' as an option? Just assign each button as you like. It's not even hard to do for game devs but custom layout is hardly ever an available option, it drives me nuts.

I’ve never tried HJ but I think I should. I’ve run BJ since Reach. I like it now but I think in some aspects it sets me back.
