Both of these bike are the most stolen scooters in the uk where i live i wouldnt bother buying one buy a Chinese bike less likely to get stolen
ОтветитьStill something was left unsaid. Yamaha is looking awful next to that beauty
ОтветитьWonderful comparison. I wonder if there is a lot of difference in engine power between the 155 and 125cc NMAX. Thanks for sharing this. :)
ОтветитьI have a pcx 125 love it
ОтветитьGoet goet
ОтветитьI will definitely vote the PCX scooter because it is my favorite since, the 2014 model
ОтветитьYamaha !!
ОтветитьI test rode an Nmax 155 last year and was shocked at much room there is. I´m 186cm (6´1") and could easily stretch my legs out and move back freely. Very comfortable even for hour-long journeys. I weigh 110kg so I definitely would have wanted the extra power of the 155.
I went for the Xmax 300 instead though, mainly because of the power. It isn´t nearly as roomy as the Nmax unfortunately and you start to feel cramped after around 90 minutes in the saddle.
Yamaha should make an Nmax 300 and I would buy it in a heartbeat.
I have both .
Yamaha easily wins
Very good review
ОтветитьHi, greetings, I'm from Indonesia. I just found this video and I just realized that your N MAX and PCX only have 125cc cubic. Both of which in my place Indonesia have 155cc cubication and 4 valves with the same model and appearance as in your place. Only distinguished by the choice of colors. FYI : Prices for both now in 2022 around £1,850 (non ABS), and £2,054 (ABS+Traction Control).
ОтветитьHere in Philippines we have 155cc version of those. Why you only have 125ccs?
ОтветитьNmax有125嗎?
ОтветитьHi. Im from the Philippines and I have a Yamaha Nmax 155. I don't think I've seen a 125cc version here. Just curious why that is. I bought mine for around 2300 GBP. I'm wondering is there really a difference? Did Yamaha just make a bigger engine with the same performance just to make it look good for the local market?
Ответитьholly fuck bro
ОтветитьThe only negative for the Pcx is the rear brake which is very frustrating, yet I still chose the Pcx and never had a problem! As far as design goes, it is way more slick and beautiful to me. Absolutely great performance and perfect for the city! I even crashed it and didn't get anything more than just a few scratches down where you put your feet 🤣 Definitely recommend!
ОтветитьI have the red nmax because of better breaks and seating position. But both good bikes
Ответитьpcx !!!! perfect !!!
ОтветитьThe yamaha have always had somewhat comfier sit in that they are not as firm, and the deck where the leg is seems bigger than the yamaha. But after actually sitting on each at dealer's I personally find pcx to be comfier in terms of sit, precisely because they aren't flat, I find myself sliding of the seat on the yamaha easier but I gues for longer rides even touring the Yamaha might be more comfortable. As for that leg room, after actually sitting and trying on, it doesnt seem as roomy mainly because the body on the yamaha is wider so your leg is spread a little wider so the pcx actually felt more comfortable too.
I think the biggest advantage on Yamaha is simply that both front and rear are abs. The pcx I think looks better overall, the speedometer and all too, and I think that extra room in the underseat compartment is such a plus for so many practical purposes.
I went for the SYM Jet X 125 cc
ОтветитьWhen you are longer than 185cm you must choose the pcx 125. By all the yamaha scooters xmax etc the steering wheel Will hit the knee
ОтветитьI rode an older version of the Nmax on holidays in Portugal, it was a great ride!
ОтветитьExcellent review. Short sweet and to the point.
ОтветитьThis video was the decisive reason for me to pick and buy the pcx. Thanks for that
ОтветитьHere in Malta, the Honda is more expensive than the Yamaha.
ОтветитьWhy is the UK version 125cc and the US version 160cc? Yet the UK version has cooler features (hazard lights, keyless, etc) Honda company is weird.
ОтветитьI have driven the PCX, lovely bike, only thing bothered me was my hot ass, the seat became little to hot when driving(i drove it in Thailand), if i ever will buy one, i try to find a cooler seat, for the rest it was comfy, even when i drove around 100km, with my gf on the back...
ОтветитьLol the headlights on the nmax look ridiculous 😂 They are good scooters though! The sitting position is more comfortable. Better brakes and take off speeds. Though smaller tank and uses slightly more fuel than the pcx
Ответить*VVA ( Variable valve actuation)
ОтветитьReview of NMAX150cc and PCX160cc
ОтветитьPiaggio Medley all the way.. bigger boot, more comfortable, bigger wheels, F/R abs, equal bhp, longer wheel base, better for motorways (bigger wheels), same price if not cheaper and liquid cooled. Your welcome 🌝
ОтветитьI'm a Honda fan but in this case I'm picking Yamaha abs is just one reasons why
ОтветитьIT is like comparing shit with birthday cake. Pcx being a cake
ОтветитьThey both look good. I think Honda did a better job with the front indicators than yamaha.
They are positioned higher and i think you'll be seen much better.
Why is nmax and pcx in southeast asia are 155cc, meanwhile this is 125cc.
ОтветитьNice review but for the life of moped scooter buyers why doesn't anyone ever compare the Piaggio medley with the usual 125's.. no where onYT....
Thanks for the video
Honda PCX still uses a drum brake at the rear, WITHOUT ABS!
ОтветитьBoth are small, but Yamaha looks more like a toy.
ОтветитьHonda more better
ОтветитьThis is how you do a comparison, concise, to the point, great shots,
Ответитьvery good video gentlemen, thanks for it, now I finally msde my choice)) greetings from Berlin!
ОтветитьIn Asia Yamaha NMAX has 155cc & Honda PCX 157c. Both are awesome scooters
ОтветитьHandsome Nmax <3
ОтветитьAm in Africa where some of this bikes are rare and am planning on getting a 2020 pcx model just for daily average use not city to city traveling.. What is ur advise on that?
Can It last for like 5-6 years (what's likely for me to change in those years let me know )..
Sorry for the English though..
I have had two pcx's and yes you would think it should have a rear disk by now but I've been lucky and never had a problem stopping quickly. It does however have led lighting all round and the Yamaha still has bulb indicators, they are so low down that a guy I met owned a new one and said drivers are not always seeing them.
Yes am biased but watching them together on this vid, for me the styling of the Honda wins hands down.
I know we will never see it in the UK but the 160 would be perfect for me.
I own a Yamaha nmax 2021 the blue just like in this video was originally going to get the Honda but so glad I didn’t the nmax has been so reliable to me haven’t let me down once mega fast the only down point is not being able to get a helmet under the seat but other than that a brilliant bike overall
ОтветитьIm picking Yamaha since it has both front and rear abs which should be standard in 2021 now.
ОтветитьI got Yamaha. And OMG! I don't think I would have survived day 1 if it weren't for ABC brakes.
You'll be going at 40MPH and some lunatic will come out to your front and pretending like you don't even exist. I'm really tired of all these psychopaths and their trash and careless driving.
Didn't speak about the main thing yamaha has both abs brakes which is more safe to ride specially on winter and honda has one abs front break
ОтветитьSauf qu'il faut mettre le casque à l'envers dans le coffre du Yamaha, sangle de serrage dessus et visière vers l'arrière !! J'ai un N MAX 2021 et le casque rentre.
