#1 worked like a charm. We had started getting message "Something went wrong" with the Amazon Prime Video app not long after we upgraded our internet service and had a new network ID & password that our TV was connecting to. We have a Sony Bravia KD-55X75CH.

ОтветитьI tried many of the other steps from other videos or google search results, but your instructions were the clearest, and #5 is what worked. My problem was that the streaming wouldn't work, but you could watch trailers, etc., just blocked on streaming. Thanks!!!

Thought my luck sucks, no way any of these solutions would work for me. Read the comments, people said #1 worked. I prayed. And guess what, it didn't work! Obviously I didn't try factory resent coz my bad luck scares be and I can't lose Netflix too.

I knew it was something to do with the TV. Because in another room Prime and Disney worked fine with sound. Anyways good stuff!

ОтветитьFirst option of simply holding down the RC on/off button on my x95g until the restart option popped up worked a treat, so thanks.
My issue had the buffering circle stuck on the Prime app, but all other were working fine, as is Prime now.

ОтветитьAppreciate the info on the power button hold. These TVs should come with a built in function that clears the cache when you turn off the tv. Or a button that would be less drastic than a factory reset. Frankly the screen saver adverts that these streaming services play are not helpful. They seem to cause issues.

ОтветитьBest solution is not to buy a Sony bravia. They're shit. My TV is slow and has numerous problems- blank screens with sound working, slow WiFi connectivity (everything else is fast), channel transmission breakups cause it to hang... worst TV ever
