The one artifact recovery that got me was they found a woman's makeup bag of some sort...and inside was a bottle of perfume, they popped the top off and smelling the perfume which apparently was still good yet brought everyone to tears cause they realized the woman who owned that was lost forever but they got a bit of her back in that brief moment

This is my fav Titanic documentary simply because of its iconic 80's track (And everyone knows 80's music is the best!) Also RIP to the late great Nargeolet, I think this (documentary released in 1988 but filmed in 1987) was his very first dive to the Titanic out of the 37 dives he would make throughout his career and life as a Titanic researcher and deep sea expert. It's really a testament to his devotion, as a Frenchman who had virtually no connection to an English/Irish/American ship yet dedicated his whole life to the studying and understanding of this little piece of human history. Well it did make a brief stop in Cherbourg I guess, but that was it lol

They did it back then, but with modern science someone failed in modern time. Sheesh

Proper mini-subs are made from eco-steel, ceramic and fiberglass and their windows are made of thick glass-like composite.
