What's the lore behind combat rolls having invincibility frames? If someone is dodging an attack, it's to change their position so the attack misses. Rolls are excessive and inefficient.

Not my first souls game but its kicking my ass like all the others did. I've accepted the fact that dying is a game mechanic with theses games. I'm loving it so far though. I'm late to the party and will be busy with this for several months easy.

There are games i can play and there are games that I can't! This is one of those I can't!
I gave this a try for few hours ..but I just ended up frustrated by dying and dying every time ...can't hold a grip on this darksouls kind of genre.
It feels hard ,slow,very easy to get killed and requires to much devotion!
I mean,is not a bad game,but it's to damn annoying that you can die so easy..and lose those damn runes ..then recover and rinse repeat !
Not for me for sure !

Anybody still think Fark Souls is Gard?

No Dark Siuls is easy mode after you played this.
Even Bloodborne Father Casgoyne boss is easy compared to this.

I love that game but om ir's difficult.

Even the normal monsters are jyst as fifficult as the nobodss fights.

By far this is the best Beginner's Guide to Elden Ring! The narrator's voice is also adding a divine element to it!

I finally got around to playing this game, and only a few hours in I was just so disappointed at the npcs.. They have the peripheral vision of a porn star and even when you run one directly across another it just keeps following its route.

Like come on, such a massive and intricate game and yet most minor encounters react like grandma in the middle of her siesta?? Meh.. makes the game feel so dead and mechanical, and really ruins most of the rest which is so damn good 😢

i got elden ring 2 days agoi beat the tree sentinel after my 70th try i beat margit the fell omen on my 2nd..... skill issue or im good

I’m 20 hours in and loving this game. It’s crazy how I’ve had to bypass most bigger enemies and a lot of guards but ended up being able to beat Margit the fell. The enemies are so intensely challenging. The exploration is beautiful and so fun. 10/10 game for sure.

The pouch is such a godsend it makes it hard to go back to older Soulsborne games in terms of accessibility.

Thank you! I just started playing and this is exactly what I needed, exploration has been fun so far but combat is rough.

All the guides I've found until now have been like, go here, pick this up, go there, fight that guy, spare the other guy, buy the item that makes the boss weaker. That's dumb.

People want help to understand how to play the game, not ways to cheat it so they can play less of it.
