I Tried Jordan Peterson's Daily Routine For A Week (work 14h a day!?)

Thank you for sharing. I am also reading his book, 12 Rules for life, out loud in order to improve my English skills as well as to apply his rules to my life. For example, I have been cleaning up, reading and writing, and walking almost daily. Anyway, just wanted to say "good job" and "hi" from Seoul ^^

cool enough video... i can't believe how many ppl need to hear the advice: get out of bed, organize your day, get to work.... like duh, what did you think all the productive ppl were doing all the time? like this is such basic dad advice bahaha. Like i'm 38 and can count on one hand the number of mornings i have slept past 8:00am since i was 18. maybe the tip the kids need is: MOVE OUT OF YOUR PARENTS HOME AND DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE THAT WORK! you can't sleep till noon when you have bills to pay. waiting until your like 30 to start getting your shit together is pathetic.

I don’t think it’s possible to work 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, have a healthy sleep schedule (7-8 hours) and prepare and eat meals, drive, shop, exercise, be in a relationship… (within the remaining 2-3 hours?). How would that work?

I'm sorry, i respect Jordan, but this routine is not healthy. Even if you truly love, what you do, but a 14 hour working day is crazy. It is proved, that if you dont have 12 hours between your days, you are going to get some serious mental issues. Between Jordan days are only 8 hours, what means that he only has 8 hours of sleep and nothing else.

Somebody can't speak an individual truth. Truth is being the same for everybody. Somebody cannot speak their own truth because that literally doesn't even make sense. You're speaking your own opinion. Truth is objective, not opinionated.

My daily routine: wake up tilted, watch yt etc, be*toff, take it from there.

Jordan Peterson does not work 14 hours a day that is insane. You need like an hour to workout and an hour of recreation and if you don’t have that you will go insane and work at a lower efficiency than you if had taken those breaks. Maybe he just sleeps the literal second he hits the bed.

"Clean your Room" is just a metaphor for order.
If you cannot order your own room you are unlikely to ber able to manage anything beyond that space.
So "Clean your room before going about changing the world" is a very real and relevant piece of advice.
Not managing to keep even the tiny space that is a room in order is a clear indication of your inability to manage bigger things in life, like a house, a family, work, a business etc, the scale keeps scaling.

working 14hours a day is unhealthy. You need to be more efficient with the time you will have, adding more hours to your working schedule does not do that for you. Also American's in general don't know how to be efficient, so to be fair that is not your fault. Also you won't have time for your family.

Dont look up to people who are in public. These people are not where they are just to help you but to help themselves. Look up to people in your direct area, like parents, grandparents, friends, teachers. They are real because they dont search for the way to be in public. Look at the people in public and you know.
