Strange sighting: Hill Country Village baffled by mysterious creature

I believe this animal is called a Dhole . A Dhole is a wild dog but is not typical fond in Texas. It was probably brought over as an exotic pet or escaped a zoo.
The tail has alot of missing fur. But it has the typical black end to the tail that most dholes do have. The black end to the tail fallows up the tall some ways. Also the very lage rounded ears with alot of fur inside the ears that sticks out in a lighter color is another clue. Wild dholes can come in many different reddish browns and blackish shades. But they all seem to have the same fur patterns. I'm pretty positive this is your unknown mystery dog . Please look up pictures of a wild dhole. I do believe most people would agree with me . The big rounded ears with the black ended tail are the biggest clues . Good luck to all and I hope this brings answers for everyone wondering :)

Coyote and dog hybrid. Coydogs. This is the most likely explanation. Texas is packed with coyotes and they will mate with domestic dogs. This thing has the legs of coyote but something is off about it. That's the domestic 'dog' that we see.

It's got a canine type snout, not a flat face like Feline, my money's on coy dog .

It's got wild dog like ears but the tail makes me think mountain lion, it's got the same fur length and coloration but the ears are wrong for a mountain lion and the legs are too thin. Too big to be a bobcat or other cat species. Has to be a dog but I can't figure out what kind

It's a Thylacine or "Marsupial Wolf" minus the stripes- probably cross bred with some kind of dog... 😂 Wouldn't it be wild if it was!!! 😂

Remember the Red wolf that used to be in Texas ?
Back many years ago there was a red wolf here in Texas that was known as a man eater,
After so many attacks by the red wolf's they put out a bounty on them and after a while they believed that they were all killed/ extinct,
Well, my uncle Johnny and I used to hunt in different places around Texas, we have seen the red wolf in the hills of Brazos Texas, Hill country,
We couldn't get very close to the animal without it disappearing in the hills,
We tried to track down the red wolf for many weeks,
And after a while i gave up hunting with my uncle Johnny, but he didn't stop hunting for the wolf, and about 5 weeks later my uncle Johnny finally shot the red wolf, it was a very large and beautiful wolf, Male wolf, we knew that there were many more out in the hills but after my uncle Johnny finally got the wolf he finally stopped hunting due to his cancer treatment's were making him too weak to hunt in the hills,
Beware, there is still Texas red wolf's out there and they are man eaters and very dangerous.
They are not extinct.

Definitely a strangle looking creature, almost like a cross between a cat and a dog! I’m no expert, but it looks a lot like a Tasmanian tiger. I remember seeing recently on the news that people found some remains of a Tasmanians tigers skin. That’s just my guess.
