I think this finally answers why previous loopers did not go with me: this one has a much bigger hard drive where you can save your recorded loops much better, and most importantly, this one has a screen where you can view what you have recorded. This always got me confused with what we can easily call 'odl fashioned' loopers: you had to skip through your stored loops, not being sure whether you activated or skipped loops. I think this looper can offer me the exact possibilities I searched for.

I just wish they had updated the Manual PDF - very annoying as it is the old one without the screen and not the + version. Why cant they do one!!!!

Do you generally put your looper at the end of the pedal board (to record the wet signal), or at the beginning (to capture the dry tone before going through the effects) ?

bought the pedal at Sweetwater and the first time I used it, right after I had to insert a WAV file. on the pedal, it stopped working and started to appear on the "Boot Mode" screen and after trying to do a software update, the error message appears...
I can't use Ditto+.
What should I do to reset the pedal?

Has anyone experienced that a loop has no sound when transferred to a computer?
I love this pedal, and made a few decent loops that a wanna save on my computer. I did this several times with no trouble, but have experienced that some loops has no sound on the computer. Really strange. Would make sense, if it didn't work for ant loops, but it's only some.

I’m still a beginner when it comes to pedals. I didn’t realize this is true bypass when not in use. I assumed that because it’s always on it must be buffering. Well that’s pretty cool, but also an important thing to know.

Hey so I got a new one and it worked fine but today is different. 5 seconds after I hit record it tells me I have one minute left. There is nothing saved on the pedal it’s completely blank. No factory reset instructions. Even tried the regular ditto factory reset and nothing. Please help trying to contact tc electronic for support is like asking a rock to soften up

You guys need to do a video on how to download backing tracks and drum loops, not one video anywhere on how to do that. Probably simple enough but a video is needed.

This was my first pedal. I think I had only been playing guitar 🎸 a year at that point, though I’ve been a musician all my life on sax. I use it almost every day.

The important points for me creatively are that it’s a technology I can grow with, and it can loop absolutely any input, including drum tracks and vocals.

question: can this allow you to stack many loop layers together? like say i want to build my own 5-way harmony vocal

I learned how to use a looper with this Ditto+ I've had a TCE Alter Ego 4 pedal for a few years and I've never successfully (intentionally at least) recorded loops with it. I seem to screw it up everytime or it acts super weird. I've read the instructions for it, but gee, I'm just not that skilled. The Ditto+ on the other hand, worked out perfect the first few times I tried it. I'll use this instead and move the AlterEgo 4 to the stereo pedalboard where it can be a delay pedal along side my Kord SDD-3000 pedal. Both have unique sounds. Korg smokes the AlterEgo for quick changes due to its many knobs and switches. all in all SUPER SATISFIED with the Ditto+

PS: I was ready to sell the AlterEgo4 considering it a failed purchase due to the 'looper' but now it gains a second chance.

All these months and still no manual. Its a cool looper for sure. Forget the backing tracks feature. While I found the folders with no issue there is no mention of the file type requirements. I've tried several .wav files and get unsupported messages on the Ditto screen.

anyone know how to upload jam tracks? Tried MP3 and doesn't work. Tried WAV and it says "unsupported sample rate".

I bought one and noticed a problem: it works just like the old ditto, but when i want to do the second overdub on on the top of a loop playing a note on the one of the first bar and pressing the footswitch at the same time, when the looper plays back what i recorded, that first note is not on the one; if i press the footswitch a little bit before the one of the first bar everything is ok. I'm not shure that it's normal. Any opinion?

I don't know if this was remotely feasible, but wouldn't it be cool to have a mesh button on this? You could set it to control either the volume, so you could swell a loop in when you wanted it, or maybe even have an alternate mode to set the place in the loop, that way the harder you press it down the later in the loop it is, and get a real glitching stuttering effect

Can you set this so that it starts overdubbing immediately after you hit the switch instead of having to hit it again?
