What...what would the end game of this organization be? Like apart from everything else buckwild about this situation, an organized homicide club? Not about money or disputes or sexual violence or hate or illicit substances or???? Just a club of murderers all with the same MO? across genders and races???? With a full awareness of police cameras???? Why go through all of this for a murder club?????????

i will never understand why so many people will give an obvious grifter the benefit of a doubt. if you're going to fall for something stupid, at least fall for something a little less stupid. this is the same level of ridiculousness as the people that believe in the "smiley face killer(s)". critical thinking is completely dead.

The mention of the "Smiley face gang" instantly made me frown.

The smiley face gang is basically a theory that a group of murderers Across The Globe are murdering young drunk men and spray painting smiley faces on things.
Reasons its total BS is smiley faces are extremely common to see spray painted on things, especially near waterways as they are private and less likely to be caught in and get in trouble for graffiti, second part is when you are drunk you stumble around and have a bigger ego. So these men could just be stumbling into water and drowning or thinking "hey! i bet i could swim in that and be fine" when they very much aren't able to do that.

He could be screwing up ongoing investigations. If there's a pattern of kidnappings, there are definitely undercovers doing work on it, and they are now spoiled.

In NYC, when someone disappears in this way, it makes instant headlines. And it doesn't happen often.

I'm very sorry for the ridiculous length of this post but this is something that I happen to know a little about and all this guy is doing, is taking the bare bones of a very complex issue and simplifying it to an absurd degree, in order to attract more views to his channel. He's an absolute fraud and has no consideration for the families of the victims who he exploits for his own benefit and who still don't have a rational explanation for how their loved one died. For those who don't already know, he's talking about the very real phenomenon known as the "Missing 411" which was first "discovered" by a retired police detective named David Paulides quite a few years back. He originally only dealt with the disappearances of hunters who went camping, hunting or hiking in National Parks and forests and disappeared under very strange circumstances. These eerie disappearances always follow a common pattern. But after a few years of studying this phenomena he began to realise that the same thing was happening to young college age men (sometimes women as well) who would disappear after a night out at a party or bar and their bodies are eventually found sometimes weeks later, if they're even found at all. And they're almost always found in bodies of water. Paulides refers to these as "urban" disappearances. But it's all part of the same phenomenon. So this dude is obviously only aware of the basics of this phenom and uses it to appear knowledgeable, clever and the guy with all the answers. But since he hasn't bothered to actually research anything about it, he's coming across as the exact opposite. Firstly, this is something that is happening in countries all over the world, not just in the US. And Paulides has uncovered cases from as far back as the thirties and forties and even a couple from the 1800's. He also fails to understand that urban disappearances and wilderness disappearances are connected by very similar criteria. And I don't think that people who go missing in forests are being offered a ride home in a moving vehicle, right? Also, a lot of people who go missing under these circumstances are tracked by CCTV, especially in the UK where there are cameras EVERYWHERE. And never do these videos show the victim being coerced into getting into a stranger's vehicle. I've seen videos of people walking home (even though they're walking in the wrong direction for reasons only known to them) and their behaviour can only be described as bizarre. Such as entering and leaving a place of business or a motel or restaurant, multiple times over. They enter, then immediately exit, then return and enter again, only to turn around and exit again. They may pay for a room in a motel, get the key and then leave and not come back. Also, when the bodies of these victims finally surface, they are almost ALWAYS missing pieces of clothing, especially shoes. In fact, searchers will often find the shoes before they find the person. And sometimes shoes are the ONLY thing they find. A hiker went missing once and when his remains were discovered by chance over a year later, the only thing that remained of him were the bones of his feet and ankles inside of his hiking boots. Still inside the socks. And there was no evidence of animal predation. An M.E. or Coroner will usually do an autopsy on the victims and will be baffled by the fact that the victim has no obvious sign of injury. They inevitably cannot find a cause of death. So they label it as "undetermined" or "drowning", even though they aren't found with any water in their lungs. Which means they were already dead when their body was "placed" into the water. One victim was found dead, standing upright in the water, his head and shoulders clearly visible. And these victims go missing for sometimes weeks at a time. But when their body is pulled from the water, there is no sign of decomposition. It's as though they only just passed away even though they've been missing for weeks and sometimes months. One victim who was found after six weeks, had his time of death listed as one to two days prior to being found. So if he died only a couple of days beforehand, where was he the whole time he was missing? There were no ligature marks to suggest he was held against his will, no injuries or bruising, no weight loss to indicate deprivation of food and no internal damage. Tox screens usually don't show much but sometimes traces of a drug like GHB will be found. But there's no way of knowing if he took it himself or it found its way into his system through other means. This thing that's happening to all these people and in turn to their families, is something we as humans don't yet fully understand and it's horrifying. Law enforcement all over America have had experiences with this and the only thing they can really do is cover it up. David Paulides talked about how he was constantly stonewalled by authorities when trying to get information through the freedom of information act. They would come up with ludicrous excuses for why they couldn't give him the information. So clearly they know things the rest of us don't. Because if the public really knew the truth, all hell would break loose. I'm actually shocked at how many people have never heard of it, or just dismiss it out of hand altogether as conspiracy BS. At least until it affects them personally. But by then it's too late.
