why the game accept you hits? don't the game have a internal counter that tracks you ammo and says players don't have ammo? why the server can' t be authoritative?

games that don't use authoritative servers like gta v, allow many type of hacks that should not exist....


cs go and dota 2 are authoritative, and the only hacks there are basically VIsion (with is still limited) and Input hacks (aimbots) you can't teleport fly have infinite health or ammo, because the server don't allow invalid states, so in this game you can have infinite ammo why the server accept this?

authoritative server may not prevent all type of hackers, but it DISABLES almost all invalid states or changing the rules of the game, its impossible to prevent wall hacks and aimbots tho as they don't change anything in the game and its mostly just input and reading game data.
