That farm is my number one base location, with out giving it's exact location out it's quite convenient to a lot of things

Bro forgot about the meth house in muldrow. It has guns, vests, and 2 buildings. It is also in the wilderness. This all comes at the cost of living a whiles walk from the city.

there is a secret base that is not mentioned in internet map that is full surronded by big wall. there is only on spot for enter that base. I hope someone tlak about it.

Near rosewood a bit under the lake there Is a small Place with pharmacy, army supply, restaurant, fuel station, food shop, dress shop, and also some houses, where you can find a lot of resources, for the water you can go periodically in the lake or take some bucket for the rain, i usually prefer to take water dispenser and use them

I use the Cathedral in the middle of Louisville

Base nominations....

1) the boy scout camps - both the western & far eastern ones. Nice and purpose built.
2) the Louisville Yacht Club, specifically the pier. Its easy to hold.
3) The academy school up north between Louisville & West Point.

I have found a farm northwest of Muldraugh. It even has a well for water and there are NO zombies.
There might be some in the buildings or if there are car crash events nearby but thats all.

I know out where I live in the USA shooting ranges are seldom used, you just go out of town and shoot there

1993 Kentucky isn't actually going to be like 2023 Kentucky , open carry wasn't so much a thing back then.

It makes sense to me there's not many ranges in Zomboid. Most rural southerners I know just find some unofficial shooting range on abandoned land that has a long sightline that somebody decided was a shooting range a few years prior.

Usually i just start in a town,watch the skill shows and gather supplies till power runs out and then go to a forest area and set up a base close to a river so that i can always catch some fish 😂

It’s Kentucky. You don’t need shooting range. Your backyard is your range 😂😂

As a native Kentuckian that first part is very accurate Kentucky in my slightly biased opinion is very beautiful especially during the fall

i set up on the little stretch of land to the left of the railroad bridge on the way into Louisville, puts your back up to the water and there's a whole ton of trees for building a base

I'v always liked the boot camp south of Louisville, it has decent food to support you, is near the mall and West point is within reach. My friends and I made a wooden road to avoid erosion. You don't even need walls, since there are basically no zombies. There is a stable water source and you the loot is okay, it's hard to find, which is great for multiplayer, you'll find some medical equipment and food. My friend and I lived off trapping and foraging, robbing West point and using the path underneath the electrical poles to make it to south Louisville safe (at the south military checkpoint). We have 4 cars and enough fuel to fill up a gas station (our way into West point is right next to a fossoil station.) We also robbed the West point gun station and bar, but sadly, our third party member ran off with all the booze to a base south of riverside.

Another good base I found is in the back of a convenience store. Plenty of storage, just needs furniture and appliances.

i had a 2 year singleplayer run in the dilapidated muldraugh train station and after some renovations and improvements it actually served well as a decent place. the only downside to the base is the loot runs are incredibly difficult if you dont have a vehicle because its pretty far away from muldraugh on foot

Know several better less used location but number 5 didn't see before gotta check but 10 is not special it's a military hike training camp break into the lookers you'll see.

I recommend the farm house to the south of the one you showed it has a well and better driveway. Also there is a Ranger Station I use in multiplayer.

There is a fantastic base that I’ve never seem or heard anyone using. There is a mounted police barracks in the bottom left of the big park in the center of Louisville that is a fantastic base! It only has entrances and windows on one side. The entrance is big enough for a car and a double gate, and the building has an open courtyard. It is perfect for your farming and mechanical skills. It is near houses and apartments for food and loot, and lots of garages too. One street over there is a small mall that has a tool store, book store and other shops. There are two gas stations within walking distance. There are also two garages, a pawn shop, a garden center, animal hospital, and police station nearby. The barracks has 3 large water barrels around it, and a small pond. The park has a small lake for fishing and there is antique oven at the visitor’s center on the other side of the park. This is the best base and the longest I’ve survived in Louisville!

I love setting up shop in the post office in Riverside. Water is really close by. Got a garage. Only issue is securing it. Lots of zombies around since it's the middle of a populated area. But once you clear them out, you can set up shop very nicely.
