If Russia wanted to fight EU, it would be a question of pushing one button. The only reason tactical nukes are not used in Ukraine is because most Ukrainians are culturally and linguistically close to Russians. He considers this a giant hostage situation, so he tries to lower the collateral damage. No such reasons for EU or USA tho. If this would always be a nuclear war, he will just do it fast. As an old veteran, I believe in NATO. The US are always causing problems, getting involved and then backing out leaving their trusted allies behind. But Europe is strong as is NATO. We now have Finland, Sweden (soon) and Ukraine. NATO will also be planning and producing defence.
